"I considered moving there, but the fact that they're situated right across from and on a cemetery is quite off-putting. Charging high rents for properties in such close proximity to a cemetery seems unreasonable. Lowering rent prices significantly would be more appropriate given the location. It's unsettling, and the value of living next to a cemetery is questionable. Additionally, one can't predict if residents might experience spiritual concerns in such an environment."

"Please for the love of god don’t move here. Very high crime area. Cars are constantly broken into, stolen and the wheels are constantly stolen. Everyone is aware in the office and they will not do anything to make the security stronger. The police are here 24/7 and have said the office is not willing to do anything to prevent crime from happening. This apartment is NOT safe and the surrounding area is not safe."

"The amenities advertised are NOT operational and available. For example, this community offers a business center, but the printer is only operational sometimes. The computer cafe does not have computers, and it has been over a year since it has been. The coffee machine is not always operational, the carpet in the common area has not been cleaned and sanitized from pet urine and feces in the 3 years I have lived here. The parking garage leaks every time it rains or snows, and residents are now charged to park in the garage. Rent was increased by over $200 the first year and by over $150 the second year. The cost of living in this community is not worth the advertised amenities."

"It is a very nice apartment. Maintenance and on site management are very nice and professional and very quick to fix things. I think it is very expensive to live here and I do think for the price we should expect perfection. My only issue is other residents do not always keep the hallways and trash rooms clean. It is not the fault of the maintenance, housekeeping, or management, I think residents need to take more pride in their residency here and clean up after their pets and keep the hallways and trash rooms clean. I have found pet urine in the common areas and the residents do not clean up after their pets, Some residents do not follow the rules when leaving their trash outside the doors and if they drop garbage in the trash room they do not pick up after themselves. I really don't think it is the fault of the staff, it is just inconsiderate, lazy residents. Most of the folks are wonderful, I am sure it is a small group that does this. Overall, it is still a nice place to live and I hope it continues to be in the future. Thanks for giving us a chance to respond. It has only been a week since I posted the above review. The Manager at The Refinery and her staff are so very special. The problem we were having with residents leaving their trash in the hallways has been corrected already. Not only that, the hallways have been completely steamed cleaned, deodorized, and notices have been posted asking pet owners not to forget to clean up after their animals if they have an accident. We can not say enough about what a really unique and special staff manage this property and how special they are in so many ways. We are looking forward to living here for a long time.
