Reviews
"I picked this apartment because of the pool, but it's been broken for almost three months now. It's frustrating to see no effort to fix it when so much can be accomplished in that time. I'm thinking of moving somewhere else. People build single family homes in 3 months and you can't even fix the swimming pool!"
"My experience in 5+ years of living here is mostly positive. The front desk folks are very friendly and responsive. The location is good, and most of the public spaces are pretty nice and well maintained. On the noise side, I have no complaints. I never hear my neighbors. My only real gripe since moving here has concerned the pool. For reasons unclear to me, but that I suspect have to do with an unwillingness to spend money on this item, the pool heater is constantly broken. So the water is often cold. I have complained more than once about this, and am at the point where I really don't care what the excuse is ("waiting on a part from Canada"; "something happened in our main electrical system"; whatever! It's just a pool, and maintaining or as needed replacing a pool heater is not rocket science). So overall a positive experience."
"Never move to this apartment, these people are thieves. I am a neat and clean person, they charged me for cleaning the apartment after I moved out. The AC was broken throughout the year, they did nothing about it. Just avoid this complex, there are many nicer complexes in the area."
"The swimming pool had issues three times this year, taking two months each to fix—suggesting management isn't on top of things. Old windows lead to high winter bills, and the loud AC makes working from home impossible. The whole building's age might explain these problems. While the lobby looks nice, the living units don't match up. They even pay $500 for five-star Google reviews, casting doubt on their reputation. Moving out? Brace yourself for a hefty 3-month rent penalty. Security is a concern too, with no cameras or staff in the parking area, making your car an easy target for theft or damage. Cheaper apartments nearby offer better quality. I've witnessed USPS boxes and cars being broken into, making me feel unsafe here. The removal of the Metro shuttle adds inconvenience, and water leaks are a persistent problem. The swimming pool, often damaged, has restricted hours – open only from 12:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. With safety concerns and ongoing issues, this place falls short of expectations."
"Since I'm a Google Maps contributor, I waited about a year to write this review because I wanted to observe all of the benefits and drawbacks of living in this location. Every apartment, in my opinion, has benefits and drawbacks, and you should choose one based on your priorities and way of life. I like this place for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, the apartment has a fantastic team. Paige Echavarria, the community manager, Joyce Shorb, the lease consultant, and everyone else is always available to assist you. They will always resolve issues as quickly as feasible. I have the impression that the entire team genuinely cares about the community and the environment. The apartment is conveniently located near the Capitol Crescent Trail. If you enjoy biking, this is an excellent location! Whether you enjoy ice skating or hockey, ice rinks are about 20 minutes away. The Giant is only a short distance away. The metro station is not within walking distance, however, the apartment provides complimentary shuttle buses from Monday to Friday. Public Schools: - The elementary school is Wood Acres. - Middle School Thomas W. Pyle - High School Walt Whitman In the Bethesda area, there are numerous daycare centers and preschools. The apartment has a wall ac unit rather than a central air conditioner. Also, there is no gas in the apartment -we have an electric kitchen stove. Personally, I prefer an electric oven because it is more environmentally friendly and safe. We also utilize Luxer one for package delivery because the packages are kept in secure boxes. The pool is quite good and open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The gym is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
