"I had my appt today 6/7/23, Dr. Jason Hull was great with that being said, I however was not happy the the person helping me, Maureen said these are the frames you get to pick from, told me the ones I had picked will not be good for a non-line bifocal, then went on to say we'll you're going to have to pay, ok I know "are you sure you can pay this?" Was not very polite and condescending, and talking down to me like I was not understanding what was going on. Will not deal with her when I get my glasses next week"
"The female eye doctor at the location is inconsiderate and made my child feel scared because she was complaining that she couldn’t see when that’s not her fault she doesn’t listen to the patient and gets frustrated and makes snarky comments about them when she’s not right"
"I have had some hit or miss experiences at this location but in the end got things worked out. Recently my wife had an eye exam and got new glasses at the Edinboro PA store. When she picked up the new glasses she wasn't happy with how she could see with them. She explained to the employee that her old glasses allowed her to see better than the new ones. She uses them for reading and working on the computer. The new glasses make her have to get twice as close as her old script. The employee did not offer to check the prescription, sit her down and look into it or ask her to come back for further help. My wife being someone who avoids confrontation paid and brought the glasses home and put them in a drawer. I found out two months later when I asked her why she wasn't wearing the new ones? So if you do get glasses here make sure you get what you paid for and don't let them treat your vision like it doesn't matter. POOR Customer Service!"
"This review might be biased because I previously had a horrendous experience at the Target Vision Center in Erie. The optometrist at Walmart Vision Center in Edinboro is super friendly and good at what he does. You can tell he's been doing it a long time and that he cares about his patients, whether they're regulars or newcomers (I was a first-time visitor). This is especially good news since I imagine they get a lot of business from college students. The assistants working there were also really friendly and eager to help. The gentleman who worked with me, I think his name was John, made sure I got the best value with my insurance and a special deal on frames they had going on. I could tell he really knew what he was doing. I got a year's supply of contacts as well as a pair of new frames that I love. I'll definitely go here again. Plus, they have convenient weekend and late hours without sacrificing quality. I was skeptical at first, since it's Walmart, but I was truly impressed and I highly recommend it. The only downside is that if you're looking for cool frames, the selection is a little sparse."
