"I have been here for 10 months and I did renew my lease. Let's start with the staff are professional and pleasant. Maintenance responds and fixes all my issues promptly. My neighbors are cool. Now, the only issue I have is I can hear every step above me… I believe the walls are thin, but because I'm in a corner house, I only have one person beside me, and I can also hear them. I did see mice twice when I first moved in, but maintenance sealed the holes, and I haven't seen anything in months."

"I went for a tour and applied at Park at Winterset. Kallen in the leasing office was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly, thorough and helpful. After I left, she even played around with my move in dates to see if she could get me more within my price range and she did. The community was eye pleasing, seemed quiet and clean. The unit I toured had a great layout, very spacious for a one bedroom with a den. I'd definitely recommend taking a look at Park at Winterset. Kallen will take good care of you!"

"I have been living at Park and Winterset for the past 4 months. Since the beginning, I have been having issues that I continually look past. During my application process there were significant delays due to a change in management. I was advertised an upgraded apartment, but they did not upgrade my kitchen sink. This is not the biggest deal, but it just added to my now frustration. My AC broke TWO TIMES this summer and the second time I was told it “wasn’t an emergency because it’s not 85 degrees outside” so I had to sit and watch the temperature all day to call back and report it as an “emergency” once it reached 85 degrees. Within one week they lost my apartment condition form which I had to submit again. The biggest problem which is the reason I am writing this review is the management office lost my renters insurance and they have been charging me $10 a month for insurance that I already have. I received an email today saying renters insurance is required and they have been charging me. If it is required, why would you wait and charge me for FOUR months before bringing it to my attention? The apartment itself is just okay which is why I rated two stars, but the management alone is enough for me to not renew my lease."
