"I came to Free Spirit to get acupuncture to treat (extreme) motion sickness. I was going on a cruise, and I really didn't want to be sick. I had THE most amazing vacation and I didn't get motion sick even once. I flew back and forth to Miami, sailed on the cruise ship, rode as a passenger on several excursions, and even spent an hour sitting in a small boat bobbing in the sea. That last activity would previously have made me sick within a minute or two! This exceeded ALL of my expectations. I took several backup remedies and didn't use any of them. I cannot thank you enough!!!"
"I would give free spirit one star, I was satisfied with the treatment and care, but was very unhappy with the billing/financial services provided. I have health insurance which covers acupuncture treatment. The facility tried to tell me that I hadn’t met my family plan deductible. I am the only person on my health plan and my deductible was already met. They charged me for the first visit, which I paid up front. Then I reviewed my explanation of benefits from my insurance and it confirmed I didn’t owe what they charged me. I have been calling them to get a reimbursement, and keep getting the run around. I honestly wouldn’t recommend, it isn’t worth the hassle"
"I love supporting local businesses and I prefer a natural healing approach. I have to be very honest although the staff is very friendly, I was very unhappy with the treatment. I went here for a treatment to help with some trauma and stress. The gentleman did not understand me apparently. They were looking for a specific spot to treat and I need the whole body done . Also I was under the impression that they had an energy acupuncture available but I guess not. I am sorry to say I would not recommend this place for healing from any trauma stored up."
"I have been seeing those people for years, and with all of my issues from vision to speech to breathing to body spasms, they helped significantly. Even if you are afraid of needles, it does not hurt the way you think it would. I highly recommend you give at least I treatment a chance to see for yourself."
"I've gone for various reasons. Most times, it's because I hurt myself renovating my house. After treatment, the swelling went way down, almost miraculous. Another time, I hurt my ribs. I didn't break them, but almost, and the muscles around kept spasming. That made it difficult for me to breath. After just one treatment, the spasming stopped and I could take a deep breath. I love going there."
