"I had been a loyal customer for a few years, trusting BMC with filing our taxes, until now. Imagine my surprise when I got an email from them, about six months after our taxes were filed and service paid, saying our account was "significantly past due". This was the first notification and when I looked at the attached invoice it did not specify what service was provided, the price or previous payment. It only reflected a beginning balance starting three months after our taxes were completed and then subsequent monthly finance charges. When I inquired about this, they could not provide a reason of why it took six months to send a notification there was a balance due. This is a shady process and if this is how they handle their own accounting, I can't imagine how they handle client accounts."
