Lotte Plaza Market - Centreville

"Good place to shop in the Centerville area. This is a supermarket-like store that I stopped in near Christmas time to get herbs and cranberries for a holiday recipe. I had already been to Food Lion and other stores with no luck. This one had what I needed and a lot more. Their website states that “Lotte Plaza Market has strived to be the premier source for Asian groceries in Maryland and Virginia.” The company was founded in 1976 and has grown to 16 stores mostly in the two states with a single store in Florida and New Jersey. It seems to be in a busy area with lots of traffic - perhaps an up-and-coming area. There is plenty of parking as it shares a lot with many stores. The outside of the store was not very clean but it seemed that inside the store they strived to keep the shelves stocked. They had so much stock that I had to ask where I could find the ingredients that I needed. The staff was friendly and walked me to the items. The floor of the store was a little dirty but I put that down to the volume of business that they were doing. Checkout is just like any supermarket with cashiers and checkout counter. Their prices were very reasonable for the economy. I would visit this store again, especially if I needed an item that I could not find elsewhere."

"They always have fresh fruits and vegetables at a more competitive price than most stores. Fresh and live fishes too. You'll find various hard to find ethnic food stuffs and snacks. This is a one stop shop for food stuff, kitchen supplies, spices and many more. Checkout is a breeze with several attendants and assistants."

"Wow, what can I say? I usually frequent the Chantilly location but this location did not dissapoint. Everything is order, clean, I found everything I was looking for and then some. Fresh seafood, teas, my noodles and snacks, all in one place. Love this location and will visit again."
