"Yeah, this is definitely the best authentic ramen place I have ever been to. And the venue is super bare bones so you KNOW the food is awesome. I went to a lot of ramen joints in the DC metro back when I was specifically on a hunt for the *best* non-instant ramen meal I could find and honestly this is the one that ended up as top of the line. The apps aren't as good as some of the bougie-er places with chicken karaage or poke salad, to be fair - but the ramen itself? Unmatched Edit: the parking definitely is a mess tho. If you can get a spot or find one on a nearby street, cherish it"

"Look am never to write a review but today I had too!! I been to this place many many time never no issue, but today they really showed their true color. So one thing I never no do is leave no tip, today it was different i didn’t feel like leaving tip The owner asked me if everything was OK. I said it’s yea but I like to be left alone to eat my lunch because I don’t want to engage in a conversation to why I didn’t leave tip. But she insisted to keep asking why not tip I said because I don’t want to leave a tip I said is that mandatory she said no but this is America. I said exactly why I don’t have to leave a tip and why you shouldn’t engage me why I’m not leaving a tip in a very hostile manner. Am not talking about feeling threatened physically by no mean more so in a unwelcoming way inhospitable way. So comes this Spanish Pillsbury doughboy sister comes out and said we like for you to leave and we won’t server you no more !! I said why because I won’t leave no tip!! She had no answer she reverted to saying “no problem” over and over until I dropped my luck and left but I will say one thing I AM NEVR GOING BACK AGAING THEY LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER!! HONESTLY !!"

"The ramen was hot and tasty. Gyoza good, too. I was very impressed the ramen soup. It was chanpon ramen, it had a lot of fresh sea food. Very healthy ramen. I had a good dinner there"

"One of the few authentic ramen shops near me. Near is very relative here. Solid ramen offerings at a reasonable price. There are quite a few add-ons, but only one worth it is the egg. Everything else is a bit over-priced. They have specials like tan tan men, which is ok, nothing that noteworthy. It is a nice change of pace. Good serving size, if im famished ill get some extra noodles. The ramen is sometimes criticized as very salty. I think those people forget that the style is shio ramen, which literally means salt. Food is served fast. Not that much seating though, largest table can barely fit 5. Place is pretty bare bones, which is fine since the food is good. Very important: you won't get seated unless your entire party is there."

"The noodles were perfect texture and consistency. However, the soup was not good at all. Bakudan Ramen was supposed to be spicy but it was not spicy and very watered down. The stamina ramen was very very salty leaving my mouth dry as a desert. We waited 30+ minutes for our ramen. Limited cramped parking and towing signs everywhere. There was 1 hr street parking if you're lucky to find a spot. The place was pretty small but they did have good service. Overall, cons just outweigh the pros. Would not recommend and would never come again."
