"Staff was responsive, compassionate and professional from the reception staff to the vets, nurses and support staff. We received timely updates and everything we needed to care for Charlotte when she returned home. We were so thankful for their care and concern. We are so very thankful and highly recommend Blue Pearl!!"
"The staff was considerate and kind when we came in with our dog last week. They made the checkin and payment process easy and were very patient, especially when I was anxious about my dog. The front desk was communicative and got a nurse to update us when we had to leave our dog there for several hours. Thank you so much for your compassion for our animals, even when it’s very busy! We appreciate it."
"My dog, Myles, had a seizure on Christmas Eve while we were visiting my in-laws. My mother-in-law recommended that we call Blue Pearl, as she has only heard good things. I called ahead and the staff member I spoke with was very friendly and efficient with getting my information. When we arrived, Myles was shortly taken to a triage room. When he was deemed stable, they assured me he would be kept under close eye while they took care of more critical patients. The physician that called me twice was extremely kind and easy to talk to about Myles’ care. She made recommendations that I agreed with and Myles was able to come home within a few hours. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable when we picked our dog up and they went over discharge instructions. Myles is doing great! Thank you so much"
"Even though I was scared to take my French bulldog Paris to the emergency room I had no choice but too, let me just tell you how nice everyone was how they cared for my baby I no doubt made the right decision to take her in. The doctor was up front with me and didn’t do X-rays because she didn’t want to waste my money for me to use that and get the testing that i needed for my girl . I thought I was gonna spend thousands but didn’t even with her staying the night. Paris sends her thank you ❤️"
"THEY CARE MORE ABOUT MONEY THEN YOUR PET. We brought our dog here when we found out she had parvovirus. She tested positive for it at our regular vet and they recommended she stay at an ER. We wanted to give her the antibody treatment for parvo. Not many emergency vets have it yet but Blue Pearl did. The antibody treatment itself was over $2,000. And we realize they don’t control the price of the drug. They originally told us everything would be $3,800 for 24 hours with the treatment. It ended up being about $4,100. And for what? I don’t know because they didn’t do much. Although they had already brought our dog back they had her sit and wait until we decided if we wanted to do the antibody treatment or not. Big decision considering the cost. Once they had our payment they finally started to give her fluids. We were trying to decide if we should taker her home the next day because another night would cost $1,500. So we talked to the vet the next day and he sounded annoyed that we were asking questions about our own dog. He recommended she stay another night because she didn’t eat a second time and she was still having diarrhea. If money wasn’t an issue sure we’d like her to stay another night. We decided we’ll pick her up and take her to the normal vet for fluids the next day. He didn’t recommend this option and he seemed annoyed that we brought it up. We pick up our baby that night and she seems drugged up. We just thought she must be really sick and we doubted our decision to bring her home. Once we got home we were looking at the receipt and saw they gave her a pain killer twice that’s like a sedative. But they didn’t tell us this at pick up. No wonder she didn’t want to eat half sedated! No wonder she was leaking diarrhea on a muscle relaxer! She started to feel much better at home after the drug wore off. I’m glad I didn’t spend another $1,500 for them to drug her up more for no good reason and have us pay for it. The vets either have terrible communication or they are liars. Either way I didn’t trust them and I wouldn’t recommend."
