"I would say going through a tough process from the doctor Eaneli to the nurses and lab staff it was a great experience with them there for you. Each individual truly cares about you and want the best for you overall. I appreciate each every person that help me complete my radiation."
"This place is the worst by far, from the walk in process all the way to finding the radiology department location. The front desk receptionist not knowing where to send people first off, telling two other people I have to help this man to get him to his appointment, then she walks away and disappears for 10 minutes while we are standing there clueless. The after waiting that long, I find the radiology department with the help of a nurse walking around. While approaching the receptionist In radiology name maybe (Theresa?) older, Grey short hair, glasses. She wouldn’t provide her last name. She just as rude as when I tried to make my appointment but my wife talk me out of not coming due to the lack of compassion for patients.. I understand it may be 8am in the morning but that doesn’t call for the attitude."
"I have been getting all of my ultrasounds done here the entire pandemic. I was initially really happy with the call to check-in progress. You arrived, called a number, then you wait in your car, they call you back with a password and you enter the building to be led directly into your room. Now.... you text when you arrive and that's great, but after you get the code to enter the building they have many people in the waiting room. A woman had her mask half on her face exposing her nose making a future appointment with reception and no one asked her to correct it! It definitely didn't feel safe for anyone."
"One star because the premises appeared clean and the equipment seemed well-maintained. The doctors I dealt with ranged from disinterested to angry and rude. One of them expected me to justify my presence in their exam room and for about five to ten minutes, no answer I gave was good enough. I had a first-time appointment with a doctor who didn't ask me commonsense questions they should have. They spent such little time with me that even after an invasive, unnecessarily painful exam (other doctors were much more gentle with the same exam), they probably wouldn't have recognized me if I bumped into them on the street. I've had medical professionals here leave marks on my skin from unnecessarily harsh treatment. I've had a medical professional (and I use that term very loosely) hurt me and laugh about it (I'm completely serious). I contacted Crystal Run to file a complaint and after playing phone tag for a while, they couldn't be bothered to follow up. Another doctor prescribed me antibiotics before the test for an infection even came back. Their argument was that I could get sick without them. (Isn't that what I have an immune system for?) It turns out I didn't even have an infection. Then, I had another doctor be viciously bigoted towards me during an exam. (If you don't like certain groups of people, fine. But, the least you can do is be professional.) Lately, the specialties have become so highly specialized that doctors in one area refuse to even consider the existence of other organs — as if you were just a set of lungs or kidneys suspended in midair with absolutely nothing else attached to you. This sort of thing leads to misdiagnoses, anxiety and potentially pain for the patient, not to mention a lot of time and money lost. Overall, this whole organization feels like it uses patients to make money. It's one thing to have a symbiotic relationship where both patient and doctor benefit. But, this feels more parasitic. One of my favorite doctors at Crystal Run left, citing quietly that their reason was the administration didn't want them spending more than a few minutes with patients and that they couldn't give proper care or get to know their patients like that. Back then, there were still some good doctors at Crystal Run, but so far as I can tell, not anymore. Their behavior has shifted from concern over patients to concern over wallets. If you can go somewhere else, do — particularly if you want to be treated like a human being (as you deserve)."
"After driving 45 minutes to Urgent Care in Rock hill, I was asked to fill out the info form and was greeted by a very nice receptionist. I waited 35 minutes and was called in where they took my vitals. Afterward I was told the Dr. would be right in. I waited 1 hour in the room and came out and asked when I could be expected to see the Dr. The aide at the desk said " she had not gotten to it yet", but they were going to try and see if there was a pulmonary Dr. to see to me. I asked her how much longer that would take and she had no idea. It's funny how she had the time to chit chat with her co-workers but not to make a phone call for a patient. One hour and a half later I walked out as sick as when I came in with no medication. This is the 21st century in the USA. What's up? There were only two Dr.s to deal with all the patients. I would rate my experience as haveing no regard for the patients. This should be called .Long Wait No Care, but not Urgent Care. No one keeps you informed. After putting you in a room their job is over. It wasn't so busy that I should have waited so long and still no result. Elaine Koncz"
