Yu Noodles

"Very busy place, but we were seated fairly quickly. Food was pretty good for the location and price. I’m happy to have found a good Asian restaurant that is not “fast food” American style Chinese. I usually have to drive all the way to Rockville for authentic Chinese food. The restaurant maximizes their space to fit many people in a medium sized space, without feeling too crowded. I ordered the hot & sour noodles but it was not spicy for me, so I had to add more chili sauce. It also came with so many peanuts and glass noodles, so I couldn’t finish it all. It was good though. The pork & chive dumplings were very good and tasted freshly made. The skin is thin, which is the way I like it. The duck was a tad sweet and meat was tender. The chicken appetizer was spicy sour, and had a good flavor. There is a parking lot across the street that is free on the weekends. You can also park in the Whole Foods parking lot and walk a few blocks."

"The food was delicious but the staff was amazing. Our waitress was so patient and explained everything on the menu. We ordered her suggestions and was so glad we did. The duck with rice was seasoned well, the golden cabbage was tangy but bright, the dumplings were fried to perfection but the star of the night was the soup dumpling trio. The broth in the dumpling was savory and just the right temperature with the peppercorn being my favorite."

The service was phenomenal. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Their recommendations were spot on, and their timely service added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Chinese cuisine. With its fresh, flavorful dishes and exceptional service, you simply can't go wrong with any order here. Highly recommended!"

"The food was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. We tried the yibin spicy dry noodle, hot & sour doom & pork soup dumpling. Each was flavorful and distinct. Appreciated the warm service and atmosphere as well. The price is right, so this will definitely be a regular spot for me!"

"This place is a fun little addition to the downtown Silver Spring area. We tried their yibin spicy dry noodles and it had the right amount of kick to it. We also tried their spicy oil wonton, soup dumplings, and panfried dumplings — all of which were really tasty. Our waiter was attentive and the dine-in atmosphere was nice and casual. Will definitely go back to try their other items."
