Quality Inn Fredericksburg, Central Park Area

"The Quality Inn is rated as a 2-Star hotel and we found this location to be slightly better than 2-stars. The room we stayed in was clean, and truly was a non-smoking room (Hallelujah!). Decent room for a reasonable rate In fact everything was relatively fabulous until the morning. The carts that housekeeping uses for cleaning and to collect laundry are ridiculously loud and I think the housekeeping staff may use them as a way to encourage dawdlers to get out the door. Typically we never check out before check-out time especially if we check in late. So if you're an early riser this may not affect you. Breakfast was a little bare but I arrived late and it was good enough for a free breakfast."

"Stopped here on our road trip from FL to MA. We got in late at midnight and really only stayed to sleep and hit the road again at 7 AM. We were traveling with our 50 pound dog and the accommodations were great. Check out was simple and fast, and the man working the desk was so kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pet friendly rooms are on the first floor and look out at a decent sized grassy area we were encouraged to use for our dog. We will likely stay here again on our next road trip!"

"I am very happy with our stay. The room was clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, the shower water pressure was powerful and the free breakfast was surprisingly tasty. There was egg omelettes, sausage patties and homemade waffles, cereal, yogurt and toast. The coffee was some of the best coffee I've had ever. Shocking LOL. Would definitely stay there again."

"Worst experience at a hotel EVER!!!! Me and the family checked in then went out for dinner and a movie. After attempting to put my 6 yr old to bed she noticed a bug crawling on the bed. I tracked the bug and it happened to be a large COCKROACH. We brought back some food from dinner to the hotel and in a mater of 10 minutes the swarm of roaches had already gotten to the leftovers. My wife and I were so disgusted that we wanted to check out ASAP. Upon checking out the front desk clerk said sorry for the inconvenience and then stated that there was a note in their system to not have room 147 occupied... welp that was the room we were assigned. Then next day I called the manager said there were no roaches in the hotel room and refused to give me a refund and hung up on me. Good thing I took pictures of the infestation and the $30 of food I had to toss out! What a miserable experience. I am in the process of reporting all this to the BBB and have gotten a ton of gift cards from choice hotels customer support....none from the hotel it self. Don't stay here you will regret it."

"Nice room, very clean and quiet. Our room was on the backside of bldg facing the pool. Despite the 'biker bar' located across from the checkin office, we heard little or no noise from them. Bed was VERY comfortable; both my partner and I slept well both nights. Breakfast bar was minimal but adequate. Would definitely stay here again!"
