Food Lion

"This is the first time something like this has happened to me. I entered the store half an hour before it closed and was shopping. Then I asked one of the employees. I haven't run out of purchases, but there is only a short time left for your store to close. What should I do? They said to me, "You are inside the store, you can stay until your shopping is finished, but it is 11:05 FRANK." An staff named came and asked me to leave, saying very rudely, "You can't stay here at this hour, we are close and bla bla". It was really rude and ridiculous. (Thank you for kindly help other staff )."

"This store has a racial profiling problem especially from the Indian employees who work there. I have both witnessed it and experienced it myself. I live close by to this food lion where I frequent it either to get something for myself or Instacart. But the way these employees eye me like I’m some kind of criminal is not okay. Do better."

"I love shopping here but Niki should be fired or at least talked to for being racist and/or homophobic. I was in line for about 5 mins and we were the last ones behind 2 other customers and we got in line while the cashier light was on. The cashier Niki turns off her light and puts her hand out and shakes it saying to go away she's closed, I replied saying I was in line while her light was on and having been waiting for 5 mins and she shrugged and proceeded to tell me to get out of her line with her hand. The customer she was ringing up was of darker color, the customer in front of us was of darker color, Niki is also of darker color. I can't help but think because I was born white that she refused to help me and was rude to me and kicked me out of her line. I also say homophobic because I am a female that looks a little masculine. Cant we just all love others unconditionally and be kind no matter what we look like?"

"They racially profile in this location against black children!! The manager who smokes cigarettes right at the entryway has followed my teenagers around assuming they are going to steal. The manager called cops on them to get a no trespassing order against them and no crime was or ever committed!"

"Staff was helpful, store was clean, shelves well stocked in most places not experiencing shortages."
