"Surprisingly Great place! The location is unbeatable, the staff was wonderful & had great suggestions of places to eat, and things to see. Especially Anthony! The room was so large I felt like I was at home. Highly recommend. Best deal around!!"
"What a mess. When checking in, we entered a dirty room. When we returned to the front desk, they told us there were no other rooms and would need to book elsewhere. The front desk staff did not support with helping us find another hotel after traveling from Denver and the time approaching midnight. The front desk was dirty, the staff was unable to provide a manager’s contact information, and was unwilling to help problem solve. We offered to stay in a different room type, to change the sheets ourselves, or to even wait wait while the front desk staff changed the sheets in the dirty room! Unwilling to find a solution - every response was we can cancel your reservation here at midnight and you can contact other hotels. Having worked as a hotel front desk clerk for four years myself, this was an embarrassment of a business and they need to close. What a joke!"
"I really love my stay here, from the moment we got out the car we was greeted and welcomed the front seat guy I think his name Charles or something like that was very cared and understanding and the young guy that help me from my car to my room and explain the door locking and WiFi was so polite and explained everything to me. I’ll be back every time I visit dc"
"This is not a hotel! This is an apartment building with rooms rented out. Ours was in the basement. Pros: Our room was newly renovated and clean. Room was spacious with a kitchenette. Location is close to Georgetown Waterfront and M St. Nice playground is walkable. Cons: Such a weird and uncomfortable vibe. We felt very unwelcome coming in to check-in. It was unclear if we were even at the right place as this is unlike any hotel entrance I’ve ever seen. The staff were unprofessional. We arrived a bit earlier than check-in and asked to leave bags. They were charging $10/bag and just leaving them out in the lobby. While we waited to check-in, staff were complaining endlessly about other guests. The group in front of us were given one room when they reserved two (and had the confirmation email to prove it) and the staff didn’t do anything to address this. Every time we walked by the desk the staff were complaining to each other about having to be there. Our room was in the basement. There were windows (looking out at an underpass) but it was still a basement. We weren’t given enough towels, no bath mat, no hand towels, no bedding for the sleep sofa, no soap, no shampoo/conditioner, no paper towels or anything for kitchen cleanup. Nowhere to hang towels. There is NO breakfast included. Based on previous reviews it appears this was once a decent hotel and at some point became apartments with short terms rentals available, owned by LuxUrban. Reviews older than 2022 seem to be for old hotel. If you are looking for an affordable, clean space to sleep, this place does meet the basic requirements. You will get NO customer service and limited amenities. Subjectively, it felt strange and I wouldn’t stay there again."
"Stefan and the rest of the staff were fantastic: always patient, professional and kind. You could tell that they enjoyed working together and they made a great team. I asked for additional hangers at one point when the desk was very busy . . .I had my hangers in minutes. We were greeted with a smile and a hello every time we returned to the hotel - we felt like welcome guests. The room was very clean and quiet. The location was also perfect. It was a few blocks to the waterfront with a view of the Kennedy Center. We ate by the water and watched the boaters come in and dock."
