"I am giving this place 5 stars mostly on the fact that they figured out online food shopping. They did it efficiently and accurately . The competition , let's just them 'A Fresh store' is clueless, none of the stuff on their site is ever in stock, and they don't know how to deliver. Anyway many thanks to Safeway, will continue to be a loyal customer."

"Other employees are super nice in here but this one manager lady is rude! We all got sick from a cake I bought from the bakery for a small party. The manager accused me of lying basically because I brought back half the cake! Obviously I served it to my poor guests! ( children!!!) This woman has always been rude! Learn customer service skills and have some quality control of the food you sell! I understand things happen But accusing a regular customer of lying? I shop here weekly. Why would I return something unless there was an issue with it? A cake I bought the day before! With a receipt! Makes u not want to even come in here! And I spend allot of money in here! Because this store is so expensive. Whole Foods is cheaper than this store. I only come here because it’s convenient. Everyone else in there is super nice! It’s just that one woman and this is the first and LAST time I buy a bakery item. I think the manager is this Dolores that everyone else in the reviews is talking about. She does not belong in customer service. The health dept needs to investigate. I am 1000% positive that cake made me and the kids sick! Also the Coke Zero cans that bought have a bulging bottom on three of the cans I don’t know if that’s normal or safe to consume ( I’m going to throw them away and the cans expire in 3 months. I wouldn’t want to go back and have to deal with the monster manager. I have bought eggs from here that have had weird white large globs that look like a second yolk in them. So disgusting! You are better off shopping elsewhere unless you are in a hurry."

"I have received the worst customer service in the pharmacy. While I understand there are shortages on certain medications, the pharmacy has provided inconsistent statuses, requests and needed follow up which has caused major frustration for myself and prescribing doctors."

"Great service in the Deli Department by Rey. He was welcoming, patient, and attentive with several customers (including myself). Rey asked questions and gave feedback that helped me decide which food options were best for my needs. The store was clean, signs were easy to read and carts were well organized. Both the broiled and the fried chicken were moist and almost fell off the bone. Although the fried chicken was a little too salty for the group I fed, we all agreed to stop back in if we were ever in the area again."
