And the workers fulfilling your order are on a timer and must rush to complete the order. They have no time (or incentive) to be certain that only quality produce is selected for your delivery."

"I used giant direct a couple times. The promotions don't work correctly and if an item from a promotion is missing, they charge full price for the remaining items. its false advertising. I've called and complained. They promised to fix it, but I never got a complete refund. I just used it one more time, to give them another chance. They charged me full price for the sale items, because the store ran out of one item. I used a gift card, but now I see a $1 charge on my credit card. I will never use this website again. It's really dishonest. They use false advertising and charge me more than I agreed to pay"

"I was very pleased with my first delivery. I was skeptical using this service. But due to a medical condition, I can't stand too long or walk a lot. Plus packing the bags, loading the car, unloading the car and unpacking the groceries is painful and exhausting. So I placed a small order just to check it out. I enjoyed sitting in bed shopping and placing my order. My delivery came at 8:00am as I requested. All the items were there. The vegetables were fresh and the ground meat was perfect. Tony, the driver, called to let me know my delivery was here. He was so pleasant. I will be using this service again. Thank you so much."

"I’m fairly happy with the service but could someone PLEASE train these people how to pick produce. 2 out of the 4 avocados I got this week were obviously rotten. It’s not hard to tell when an avocado is mush. The whole reason I use this service is because I really don’t have a lot of time to shop."

"Giant Direct is the WORST. The last two times I've picked up my order for a 8-9pm slot, they all went home and nobody from Giant Direct was there to load my car. One of their regular employees was aggravated because he had to load my car as if it was my fault. Nobody is competent for picking produce at Giant Direct. Why? Because every single time I get rotten (even moldy) fruit. This means every single time I place an order I leave the fruit and vegetables off the order and have to go into the store and pick them up myself. Not to mention the poor substitutes they use. Kind of defeats the purpose of ordering online. Which leads me to my next point. Any time I have to do a return its a nightmare. Even though I pick my store in the site and pickup my groceries from that same store they are separate businesses so I have to wait in line to talk to the Giant customer service manager, to then have them call a Giant direct employee over and wait for them to arrive. Today when doing a return I had some rude Giant Direct employee tell me that I should have returned the item the SAME DAY I picked it up. By the time I get my groceries, go home and unload them. Then drive BACK with returns.... the customer service center will be closed. What a disaster. Might be time to go back to Shop Rite....."
