Hyatt Place Herndon/Dulles Airport-East

"Well let's just say that while booking a non refundable room don't let anything bad just randomly happen in your life. I booked a 2 night stay, which of course was paid in full upon booking. I arrived to check in at 3pm and everything went swell up until 5:30pm where a family emergency had arisen. It prompted me to immediately check out an go handle the situation. Again I do understand non-refundable very well and I wasn't seeking a refund, I was soley seeing if it were able to maybe have one night comped for a future stay. Well that didn't workout very much as I was told by the front desk staff that they would be able to help with that. Here we are 2 weeks later, no email, no call not even a text. Great hotel but service is below par."

"Rooms are standard and clean. Nothing fancy. Service was lacking as the front desk person also operated the bar and left me twice, when I was attempting to check in. The guy beside her doing whatever on the computer did not attempt to assist. Also, I was charged both the deposit and the full price to my card at the same time; if I am paying at that time, why are you also charging me deposit!! That seems dishonest. Also, if you come in the late evening, do not expect food. Not even water in your room!! They recommend getting food delivered through uber or Doordash! :( Finally, I saw that you have to pay for parking and your vehicle could be towed if you happen to park it away from the building. YIKES!! I wont be visiting here again!!"

"We had a bad experience with front desk agent. The lady Raeven was so rude and she yielded at us just because we told her to serve the next gentleman standing behind us while getting the credit card ready. She didn’t apologize and kept saying” I am an adult woman “ . She has zero experience welcoming gusts and she is the wrong person in the right place.I don’t know what’s wrong her but I will never book in this hotel again."

"There is a few things I want to start off with first of our most customer service was definitely a five star very helpful very respectful, very friendly, and very professional got me into my room. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately, on the hotel part, their kitchen was out of service I don’t know for how long, but it wasn’t good for me after having a rough day at the airport the rooms are up-to-date. Furniture healing downside about that part now stains on the rugs, and on the couch that needs to be deep clean and took him a little bit more serious, as far as the breakfast side was a grab and go snack I was expecting more but hey just heads up if you go during dec 14 through I’m not sure when the kitchen will be back up and running but or the bar ext.. no I didn’t check out the pool it’s 23* degrees lol"

"The room was fine for the price, and the location is good. However, they claimed free breakfast starting at 6am, I am down there from 6:15 - 7 and there was no breakfast to be found. Also, no one working front desk… The shuttle runs “every hour” (which makes no sense because the airport is 10 minutes away) but was never following schedule. The “shuttle” was also a sketchy white van with a taped paper sign. Extremely disappointed with this Hyatt. Unable to deliver on simple promises that are important to airport travelers."
