Giant Food

"It's definitely a huge improvement on the Shoppers that was there before. The footprint of the store looks about the same but, oh my, the look and feel is very different and way better. The place has been refreshed outside and very much on the inside. It feels fresh and clean and new and I love the Meat and Seafood counter. The Deli, Produce, Bakery all shine. I'm certain the other areas are just as great but I pretty much just shopped the periphery areas. I've been getting my Giant groceries by delivery but I might be doing more in-person shopping going forward!!"

"Linda J was SO helpful. She really went above and beyond helping me find the condiments I needed so I can start cooking. She was so sweet and pleasant to talk to. She didn’t give up until I had everything I needed. She is a blessing. I hope Linda is getting the respect and pay she deserves. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Linda!"

"The store is very nice . But the horrible offensive odor that has gotten worst since the store first opened is ridiculous. I've been complaining about the smell since day one . It smells like they are using a mop that is dripping with rotten animal blood and fish juice and mopping the entire floor every day . The workers all act as though they don't smell it . I haven't been in the store since September and was just met with an odor that was even worst before . I have never smelled a Giant like this ever . Get it together Giant . The store didn't smell like this when it was Shoppers ."

"I never thought I would be going out of my way to leave a review on a chain grocery store but here we are. This Giant has a surprising neighborhood feel. The employees are amazing and are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you or open extra lines to make sure you have no wait. Many of them seem to know the customers well and you will often find conversations amongst friends between the staff and customers. The selection is exceptional and as a vegetarian, this store rivals Wegmans in how many products they carry. Shout out to Mark, the new deli trainee who may be the most friendly and polite person I’ve seen in a while. There’s so many more that I wish I caught their names because of how above and beyond they went."
