"I toured this historic campus on Christmas Day 2023 and I was quite impressed. The unique buildings made the campus look like a European village. I really enjoyed the lakes and water wheel. Really cool. I took plenty of pictures. The school had an outdoor pool which I thought was unusual. I can't comment on the quality of education that you might receive from this school. I have no connection to the university. Don't feed the ducks!"

"This school is Atrocious, Ridiculous, and Unprofessional. Their processes are illogical and monies I spent towards them were Poorly stewarded and utterly wasted. At first, I received decent response times-- Up Until their administration decided I was of little use to them, and then Total Silence. Wish I had thought to check reviews Prior to my attempt to submit an application to them. Their tuition is low since it matches their level of Low, Low performance, experiences, and worth. Save your Valuable Time and Finances. I write about the experience I had with their Online arm; from what I just read, though, seems their on campus is Horrible, too. . . Go Elsewhere!!!"

"Worse choice I have ever made is sending my child to this school. Cops are always coming out for fights and threats. The building she is in is invested with mice and students are leaving home or transferring. She had a math class that was supposed to based on k-5 works and the school decided to combine her with people wanting to teach high school. Not to mention they lied about the prices. They told me she’d only need 12,000 for students loan and we are pass 15,000 because they messed up the room rate and added it to the portal without any notification then threatened to not let her register for classes. She is forced to take serval religious classes to get into her teacher if program. The list goes on. Parking authorities sit in their cars smoking while young woman coming home late walk the dark woods. My kid will not be returning after spring and if they don’t fix the mice issues she will commute and not return for fall waste of money !!!!!"

"Friendly, helpful admissions counselors for our tour. We had Anna and Ellen. Beautiful, clean campus. Pretty large dorm rooms, large dining hall with lots of options."

"This college presents themselves as being a Christian University and that is so far from the truth. EU does nothing based off of Biblical principles as it pertains to the running of school and ensuring that the students know the importance of having God as their foundation. There is nothing in place to help the students grow spiritually or help them remain in alignment with God. As we all know college years are the years in which the enemy works extremely hard to pull people away from God and knowing this it was disappointing to see the lack of programs in place to push students in the direction of strengthening their relationship with God and understanding Biblical principles. Additionally, a majority of Eastern University staff including the Professors are Eastern graduates which makes me question the level of teaching the students are receiving and further question if in fact Eastern is producing Graduates that are literate in their fields of study. In order for a Professor to be effective their skill set must be beyond what they were taught at the University that now employs them. So if we look at an Eastern graduate transitioning to an Eastern employee I think it is safe to assume that those individuals are just continuing on with following a broken system from a business perspective and bare minimal from an education perspective as that is all they know. I would further like to point out that the dormitories are dilapidated and all have extreme building code violations which if Delaware County was made aware would result in fines and perhaps the closing of dormitories until repairs are made. Before you make a decision to agree to allow your child to attend Eastern or perhaps attend yourselves please take into consideration the warnings that are being given in the form of the reviews posted. Please also note Parents, that if your child lives on campus Eastern will not make you aware of any struggles your child may be having including but not limited to mental health struggles or substance abuse struggles. This campus is not a dry campus as they portray and many of the students are struggling and I am sure their parents are unaware."
