"It’s a very decent grocery store in the city, my only complaint is that there are never enough shopping carts and the store seems to be understaffed. Every employee has been very nice and helpful."

"I have to agree with all the complaints I've read because I've had almost the same experiences. what I don't understand is how, despite the very nice responses by safeways management/customer service robots, there has been no change in this locations poor customer service. A business of entegrity, and popularity holds that status from taking action and following through with their commitment to improve. words carry no weight until they're put on a scale."

"Horrible experience with delivery and the quality of their products. Some shopper ignored my substitution choice and I ended up being charged 3 times the original price for a product that was poor quality. My checking account is overdrawn due to this poor decision. It's been two months today since asking for a refund and nothing has happened. Hate this store. Albertsons really dropped the ball by allowing this fiasco to continue. UPDATE: In response to this "fake" concern, I've done my part in properly reporting this matter to Albertsons several times and now have reported you to the BBB. I will continue to seek justice in the situation. I spent my last on those groceries and your associate's poor decision to ignore my substitute choice has caused my account to become negative. I will never patron Safeway again. You say don't forget to use my order number and phone number? I've included this, however you've forgotten about your former customer."

"They are always understaffed, no one at customer service, only one register open, can't even spare a second to check outside for lost items because everyone is running around or dragging their feet depending who it is. They carry too many brands of the same item and not enough actual variety. "Sale" items are often only a few cents off. Most staff in a dour mood, who can blame them. An emotional drain on the community on the whole."

"The lady at self check out on 09-14 around 4:00PM was SO rude! Even though she stood over my shoulder the whole time, she said that I had to complete my purchase before I could receive any bags! WHAT!?!? How am I supposed to even know many I need? Lol! It was very inconvenient as I had a lot of fragile items that I needed for my small business, so obviously I wasn’t in the mood to have any eggs or glass bottles broken! Her tone was very rude and snarky, and for some reason (probably because of her), managment and security started hovering over me when I went to Starbucks after check out. I can obviously tell she hates her job - but she acts like the customers are the ones who told her to work at Safeway. Maybe try something new?"
