Reviews of Banfield Pet Hospital
"Chooch saw you today for a puppy visit and vaccines. Thanks for talking with me about the possible gastropexy. It was fun watching you love on him and make the experience a good one. Thanks for taking the time to make sure he was well managed so the next visit won’t be scary. Barb"
"For the most part, we haven’t had a poor experience at Banfield. There are some things that need to be addressed, however. The location at Dresher was booked, so I took our dog for her annual visit/shots to the Warminster location. Done deal, all up to date. Our dog has bad anxiety and needed a refill of her medicine. I called Dresher because that’s the one we usually bring her to and the location I called in the past. When I called Friday (1/5/24), the person on the phone was very short with me and scolded me for not calling it in sooner. I was taken aback because usually I’ll get a proactive reminder and someone that doesn’t talk to me horribly. I called back the next day to confirm that the doctor was putting in the order to the pharmacy. There was no answer the first three times I called. I finally got through to someone and they said the doctor was going to put in the order. The day after that, I get a call telling me that because I didn’t take our dog to the Dresher location I can’t ask for any more refills from that location. How is it that Banfield locations use the same system for record keeping, but I can’t ask any doctor in their network for a refill for our dog’s medicine unless I pay some more money just to bring her there for the privilege of requesting a simple refill that anyone can see is valid no matter the location? How is that convenient and not at all convoluted? For the customer, it’s hard enough to keep track of everything else, but all of these rules that just spring up seemingly for the sole purpose of frustrating customers really adds to the stress when there doesn’t need to be. What’s the point of having a chain of pet clinics if the convenience and familiarity is removed from the equation? It’s about money, basically. Compassion for hire."
"Today I called on behalf of my dog Luna having pain and not being able to poop. She also had cries of pain. Amy was the first to tell me that they can’t care of her. Then i called again and the person who answered said to me that is OK if I look for a different plan out of Banfield. Quality people you have on the job..then I have your in the other end telling me you have my back when you don’t."
"I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding care Banfield provided to my Morkie. He recently had to undergo a dental procedure, during which 10+ teeth needed to be extracted. The team handled the situation with utmost care and expertise, putting both my pet and me at ease throughout the entire process. The level of attention and concern shown by the veterinarians and staff was truly remarkable. They took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, potential risks, and aftercare, ensuring that I felt informed and confident in the decisions made for my dog's well-being. Thank you to the team at Dresher Banfield!! :)"
"I have a 5 month old beagle puppy and have gone here for the last 3 months. Alexia (sp?), one of the vet techs, is the best! She is so patient, answered all of my questions and for anyone that has a puppy and needs to do vaccinations and spay or neutering. Do yourself a favor and save money in the long run by getting the puppy wellness plan that includes spay/neutering. $63 a month for one year is well worth it!"
