Reviews of Logan Inn in New Hope PA
"We are here but didn’t sleep here. The rooms look clean and modern. The restaurant and bar area is very nicely done. It has a ski resort vibe with a lot of small lights and dark wood. The service was wonderful. The food was very good, not great but very good. There was a piano player at the whiskey bar. Check out the theater area downstairs. Valet parking is available but we use the public lot. Parking can be challenging in new hope but not impossible."
"We just left the Logan inn. Overall not impressed. Have stayed at Bowman inn down the street which was head and shoulders above this place. It started with the Valet who were a bunch of kids who demanded to keep the keys of my car which I didn’t want to do considering I have a sports car with manual transmission. The bathroom had a double head shower and nice 2 person tub but not enough hot water to have the tub filled and then a shower after. Thought if we went to dinner and came back there would be some but this was not the case. Maybe the hotel was overbooked. Light bulbs were flickering in the bathroom. The restaurant had a very long wait. Food was decent. Whiskey bar had nothing special that couldn’t be found in a pa wine and spirits. The room didn’t even have curtains on one window/door so light woke you up early. No blankets only sheets. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Have stayed everywhere between a motel 6 and four seasons and I can say this was just not worth the cost. Stay somewhere cheaper you will get same quality."
"I was there for dinner with friends, staff was cordial and attentive from the valet outside to the bartender at a back bar. The food was good and company was great. My only negative was the poor directions from google maps, but I am getting better with that as well."
"Lunch is way overpriced for the quality you receive. Fries are soggy and were lukewarm at best besides being burnt here and there. The steak was cold and the outside was charred. Grits was cold along with kale. Plating is not in their minds so many items are plated before the protein is ready for service. Service slow. Check your bill because I did not was charged $7 more for steak frites even thou the menu showed $38 and chicken waffles was $4 more than the menu price of $25. That’s $12 more they charged for poor quality food. Charged dinner prices instead of lunch menu prices. Now to get my money refunded somehow. As of end of December no response from Logan inn."
"Only came here to eat lunch but it gets one star for location and general ambiance. Zero for the vastly overpriced and mediocre food and service. $34 dollars for a lunchtime shrimp salad and $38 dollars for bass and smoked mussels - but when it came there was one mussel and they said it was actually mussel sauce!! Drinks are nearly $20 and when you’ve spent over $150 for a very average lunch they still charge $14 for valet parking. Sorry I know you have the renovations and extension to pay for but there are simply many better quality and better value places to eat in New Hope and Lambertville"
