"Haven't been in awhile. I was surprised when I saw the shop had new owners. This used to be my go to place. I was told they have some of the same staff from when it was Helen's. They are just off on Sunday. I wish I knew where Helen moved to I would follow her. I was told she is not doing nails anymore. My nephew got his nails done for a wedding he is in today. They are messed up. We do not have time to get them redone. A discount of 20% was given for their grand opening but it's still to expensive. Prices with the new owner went way up. I will be finding a new nail shop."
"I always go to Helen's whenever I need a mani/pedi or a full set. Helen has done my full set with gel polish every time and I always have a great experience. I go back every 3-4 weeks or so (my nails grow pretty fast) and I've never had a break even though I work with my hands every day! I even went bowling last weekend on my third week with these nails and not a tiny scratch or chip to be seen."
"I recently moved and needed a new nail salon. I called ahead and asked how much a gel mani/pedi would be and was told $39. I even asked again to confirm pricing and was guaranteed that the nails would last a minimum of 2 weeks. The entire procedure was routine and space was clean; I had asked for white nails and a sparkle top coat on an accent nail. Upon finishing the mani/pedi, I noticed the accent nails with the CLEAR, sparkle top coat were a hue of pale yellow while the rest of the nails were bright white. I was told that was the original color of the nail polish (it wasn't) and the total came to $50 plus tip. Ouch. It is now exactly a week later and the gel is chipping off and the white polish has all turned, or is in clear process of turning, a light beige color. Considering that I'm on vacation and not exposing my nails to normal activies such as cooking or chemicals with cleaning, in my experience there is no other reason for the nails to be already look so bad other than poor quality materials. I've included a photo of my nails in their current state compared to a shade of white incredibly close to what I had when I left the salon."
"I used to absolutely love this place. The nail stylists were good and polite. They did a good job, until my last visit. I’ll never go back! I had my two nails done gel manicure and two of my nails were chipped and breaking, well she fixed them by glueing it together. I was thinking oh wow! A new hack I never saw before, cool!! But, a day later the one completely broke and the second lifted and was startling to crack. I went in to get it fixed thinking oh it was a mistake and I just paid, they’ll fix them up quick for free and I’ll give her a tip. But no, she charged me!!!! So, no when she did my nails this time she added a acrylic powder also to keep it from breaking which should have been done from the START. I should not have to paid and then she would have had a tip in her pocket and all the while I’m giving these girls awesome reviews on my makeup page matching my makeup to a tee and getting awesome reviews and referring people there. Well, you’ve definitely lost two customers I know of now."
