Nail in the City

"Never been more upset. Even the girl at Starbucks told me to go in and get my money back. Absolutely terrible. Being nice I still tipped but never would I ever recommend this place to anyone. Disgusting like absolutely gross, unsanitary everything, He cut them way too short and all uneven. This was supposed to be a refill but he took the acrylic nail off of my thumb only. Then he went to paint them and so I asked him to put a nail back on my thumb and finish the job and he told me no… TWICE. wish I just walked out but of course I didn’t want to cause any trouble. Super rough with me and just terrible all together. Do not go here"

"This use to be my go to place, but recently I’ve noticed to be given different prices every-time. I definitely have been overcharged too many time to keep returning. I get the same service & not to mention my acrylic toes do not last. Price board NEEDS to be updated & owners should Value what’s on it. Disappointing."

"So this is the 2nd time I've been here. They are really nice and the 2 times I've been there, they weren't busy so you get seated right away. The 1st time, the tech seemed to have rushed my nails and I wasn't too happy with the final results. I want coffin short and they were medium square. I kept saying shorter but she would cut off a tiny tiny tiny bit so finally I just said fine because I was tired of saying shorter and they were not coffin at all. The gel polished was not neat, she left polish on my skin and under my nail. They are 4 min away from my house and today I was in a rush and decided I would try again. I, again was seated right away but not happy at all. My nails are hurting me right now. The tech went all the way down to the cuticle with the acrylic, I have acrylic stuck on the side of my nails and again the gel polish is sloppy and stuck to my cuticle. I'm so upset, I really wanted to like them. I asked for oval and some are oval, some are oval/coffin some are just not even a shape. I'm just done."

"Terrible customer service, the place is a chop shop, stay away! The pumice block they use has to have been used on 20-30 people before, definitely a health hazard. They used a cuticle cutter to pick nail polish off of my nails ruining my nail beds. The sink where you soak your feet wasn’t lined in plastic. I didn’t let the poor service continue and asked how much it would be just for the removal of the polish from my feet and for my hands, they tried to charge me $40. I asked to settle for $20 considering extremely poor service and the lady was upset and started yelling at me. I said I wasn’t going to pay anything and I tried walking out, and the owner assaulted me and ripped my keys out of my hand breaking my key chain. I called 911 and the police came to settle the matter. You can see from the photo that a proper pedicure and manicure wasn’t performed. STAY AWAY!!!"

"Cheap but terrible quality. There is polish all over my skin and the nails are unevenly cut. My boyfriend also got a mani and pedi and his nails look terrible now. The place isn’t that clean either"
