"You guys. I wanted to come here last year for emt .. Despite all the BAD reviews i still chose to come here. All i did was CALLL .. I spoke with the lady who owns the place Ms. Dasia Mayweather .. SHE WASS SOOOOOOO rudeeeeeeeeeeee .. In other words she was basically telling me im not ready.. Like M’am.."

"This place is a horrible place to receive your education for EMS. Was referred by the DCFD after missing the average score of EMT training by 4 percent. I've reached out to Westlink because a captain at the DCFD referred me. I spoke to Dr. Dasia Merriweather who told me about all her prior students testimonials and further discussed pricing to get me started. I've paid this woman $900 via CashApp out of desperation to pass my national registry in hopes of hopping back in with DCFD. I've literally paid this woman my last to get the necessary help that the Fire Dept recommended for me to get. Dr. Merriweather received my money & it was very hard to reach her via email & text whether I need assistance/ guidance or to just ask a simple question. This woman never offered for me to sit in her classes. I was sent to a friend of hers to do hands on training. The training took place out of the guy apt!!!! I paid my money & all I received was links of study guides & old students acct info to practice for the FISDAP Exams. Very Unprofessional. It was so many red flags of how this women conducts business. I've reached out to her explaining that I really was trying to get further assistance so that I can pass my FISDAP exam to get thru National Registry Exam. I've also asked was there a way I can come to her class IN PERSON help. She GHOSTED me for weeks! Very unacceptable... I've paid this woman the amount requested in FULL!! 4 mths later & I'm still stuck...I've reached out to her on numerous occasions via text/email...no response for days! It's really sad that you pay your hard earned money, & DCFD recommended her , and not to mention DC GOVERNMENT has Westlink listed as a certified institute for EMS training. This woman took my money & refuse to do nothing more than send links for studying... I've never been offered tutoring not once & when I asked ..she blew me off in the act of being busy & then suddenly went missing. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A SOUL!.. SEEK HELP ELSEWHERE!!! Don't waste your time or money! and according to the other reviews this is what she does to ppl... & needs to be out of business and/or investigated."

"I had to early leave because of outside circumstances but from what I have seen this is a good program because your teachers and supervisors truly care about you and want you to succeed. I can confidently say that no matter what background you may have, if you come here wanting to work hard and better your life by becoming an EMT you can. The staff are very educated, hard working, and they tell us a lot of relevant experience so we can know what to expect in the workplace and how to excel. One example is they offer tutoring and life skills to help you if you don't know how to study or if you struggle in some areas. Another example is that during orientation they gave us a Q&A with a firefighter who already went through the process starting at theWest link Career Center. Then they plan to bring Paramedics so you can get experience on the ambulance and get a job right after the program- there are so many benefits plus a stipend. You just have to know if this program is for you. I felt like I could learn a lot and succeed here."
