"When I started Jack Welch Management Institute last year I had a few concerns. What would they teach someone who had been in business for more than 25 years? Would I be successful balancing JWMI with family and career? Could I keep up after not being in a formal education setting for two dozen years? I have completed three courses now in communications, marketing and global leadership and in each course I have learned a significant amount. Beyond that I find myself digging for more learning in the course areas. I have found many opportunities to network with students, faculty, staff, and the JWMI community furthering that learning experience. My courses do take anywhere from 8-15 hours per week per class, depending on assignments.
