"Waited 1:15 minutes to be seen past my appointment time. When we checked in they said they were 20 minutes behind and never got updates. By the time the evaluation was over it was nearly 2 hours past my appointment. The doctor said to factor 2 hours anytime we had an appointment. No thanks. I will find a more efficient eye center."
"Sure wish I had read these reviews before going to this practice. Made the mistake thinking if they were part of Johns Hopkins they would be good. As everyone said, check in was a nightmare, too many people in the waiting room and also in the 2nd waiting room. Overbooked, understaffed and really not good. My appt was at 2:50 and I finally got out of there at 4:55. The doctor was rushed, interrupted me constantly and I felt she really didn't hear all my concerns. Time to try somewhere else."
"If you enjoy being harassed by receptionists because you weren't wearing your face diaper over your nose this is your place. Then if you enjoy them not giving you their names after asking for them, this is your place. As for appointments, you will always be seen late. The optometricians are grouchy and quick with you and I've recieved bad prescriptions in the past. Still pending on whether their surgeons are any good, but the experience is awful."
"Had to wait 4 months for appointment for new glasses prescription. Dr out on maternity leave- understandable but couldn't get in with any other Dr. I've been going there for 10 years. Day of appointment took almost 2 hours. Over an hour just to get called back. Had to make follow-up appointment which took me another 2 months. Then they called 3 days prior and canceled on me. Now I have to wait another 7 weeks. Hire more staff. Stop overlooking appointments. Patients time is just as important as Doctors."
