"Used this place for more than ten years, has always been great except for the last year or so. Can’t get anyone in pharmacy on the phone at any time of day, on any day of the week. The last two months (if not longer) I’ve had to wait until they are closed and then leave a refill request or question on their answering machine. I can’t even get anyone on the phone so that I can transfer my rx to another pharmacy. I’m only even complaining on Google reviews because there’s no way to contact anyone at the store to make a complaint. Update: I called from inside the store today. The phones rang at both the pharmacy and the store. No one answered the phone. Unreal"
"Pharmacy is awful. They asked if I wanted my prescriptions filled automatically, I said no. Turns out they signed me up for them anyway. Fast forward I go to pick up my prescriptions and there is one that I did not request to be refilled there. They say no problem they will put it back. Fast forward to the next time I go to get my prescription refilled, I cannot because the pharmacy shows they no longer I have any more refills. So I called my doctor to get a refill. The doctor writes back that they cannot order any more refills as I still have existing refills at the pharmacy. I then try to call the pharmacy, multiple times over a two day period with no callback and no answer. I come down to talk to them and they then inform me after much confusion that they don’t have my prescription in stock at all and I will now need to wait till Monday for them to order it . This is a life sustaining medication. They know this, but really don’t care. I will be leaving this pharmacy."
"Let’s hope you never have to get ahold of the Banksville Road Rite Aid pharmacy by phone because they will not answer! They are clearly understaffed and overworked and it baffles me that they won’t hire more pharmacists, especially during the cold and flu season. I shop there because it’s close to home but will be switching pharmacies in the very near future. In addition, the employees are not the friendliest. One man in particular, never says hello, either upon entering the store or at the checkout and won’t even say thank you after my purchase- he truly looks miserable & needs to work on his customer service skills or find a job that’s not interacting with people."
"The pharmacy will never answer their phone for whatever reason and I can't describe how infuriating that is. Plus, their drinks are weak. The rest of the store is the usual."
"This was our family's go-to pharmacy for nearly 10 years after moving to the South Hills area and one we could count on, nonetheless. Our experience for the better part of this year has been horrible, and we'll be switching to another pharmacy soon. You can't reach anyone over the phone without calling dozens of times, if not more than that. We've had wrong prescriptions filled, prescriptions filled days late, etc. If you finally reach someone over the phone, they'll tell you to come into the store if you have a question, but that doesn't work either. Our family is currently dealing with COVID, so my brother-in-law tried to pick up some prescriptions for us earlier this week. The pharmacy was so short-staffed the pharmacist refused to talk to anyone, because he was the only one working and doing the job of probably 5 people. Prescriptions that should have been filled weren't filled. I don't blame the employees for any of this, but I certainly blame the corporation for poor management. The owner doesn't need to respond to this. You're wasting your time, and I will waste no more of my time with this business."
