"Don't bother considering this practice. Avoiding this practice will save you time, stress, and frustration. Doctor Williams was about 15/20 minutes late for the introductory televisit and could barely sit still to listen during the conversation. Even after providing all the necessary contact and insurance information before the meeting they tried to bill me directly instead of going through my insurance. Then even after I paid the proper copay bill they continue to send me a bill for the same appointment. This practice also uses some random website/information exchange system that alerts them to whenever you visit a hospital or other practice and they use the information on this site to contact you - not the information in your file! Well the site does not have current/updated information so they continually call individuals not listed on the approved points of contacts in their own files! Pretty sure it's a HIPPA violation even though the front desk person tries to say it's not. My wife and I got so feed up with how poorly the practice is being run that we told them they were no longer our primary care and to inactivate us in their system. This still has not fixed the issue of them calling the wrong people about our healthcare events and all the front desk says is they'll pass the request on to the office manager. Did I mention that Dr Williams has been out of the office for the past month and the office manager, who I believe is her husband, is out indefinitely. Just a cycle of complete incompetence that you should avoid at all costs."
"First impressions are everything and Doctor Williams gave me a horrible first impression. She was about 25/30 minutes late for our televisit, she repeatedly cut me off everytime I tried to explain to her what had happened to me, she questioned why I came to her instead of going to another doctor and asking them to be my primary care instead, she kept cutting me off to ask questions on things I was trying to tell her before being cut off, and she tried to suggest what my issue may be without even listening to 3/4 of what I have been through and the steps I already took. I felt as though she was trying to rush me off the call as if she had something else to do or was just ready to go home. This was my first time trying to find a new primary doctor in years due to the horrible experiences I have had with doctors in the past. This experience with Doctor Williams did not help change my bad experience with primary doctors at all. If you want to be actually heard and feel like your doctor has a genuine interest in what your are going through, actually cares what you are going through, and are not just trying to rush you out, then I do not suggest going here at all."
"The staff is disorganized and so Dr. Williams. Constantly making errors that would have me going back and forth to their office. Handwritten prescriptions and no electronic database. So when they made an error I was blamed and refused medication after being a patient for almost 3 years. Everyone is friendly until they are not. If you can find another doctor find one."
"I started going to this office 2019, I really liked this doctor but after covid hit, the telecom visits were not good. I had to take the latest visits due to working late and was left " in waiting room" three times, the doctor did not show, all three times. Each time I called about her not showing up, the following day and she said she could not fix the error on her end but tried calling me, which was not true. I called about her no show the third and final time and she falsely stated that she called me all those times, then she told the receptionist to tell me to go to another doctor for my next visit for no reason, very unprofessional and disappointing. The family practice I am with now is much more suitable for me."
"My experience with Dr. Williams and her staff has been stressful. Due to multiple surgeries and coping with pain (without pain meds...I'm off all of them), I have anxiety for which I take medication. Every month when asking for a refill of my RX, her staff would lecture me on the dangers of the medication, which is the least dangerous anxiety medication as long as it is not abused which I clearly never did. For the most part, my exchanges with the staff have been pleasant, but they, nor Dr. Williams, like to be questioned. I am well informed, educated, and pro-active with my medical care. When I questioned the staff, I went out of my way empathize with their position knowing their lecturing is part of the office protocol set forth by Dr. Williams. When I asked for a refill this month (November 2021), the nurse informed me that Dr. Williams will require an appointment in order to refill the RX because she hadn't seen me for a few months, and she would call me back to schedule. When she called me back, she informed me that Dr. Williams not only requires an appointment to refill the RX, but a full physical and full blood work to be completed without anything regarding my health that indicated these services were necessary. I would, essentially, have to go in debt to get my anxiety medication refilled. The nurse then said that it had been a year since the doctor saw me which is not true. I had at least 1 telehealth visit with her and I informed her staff that I had visited Urgent Care 1 or 2 times over the last year. Again, the anxiety medication I take is not dangerous if it's not abused, but it IS very dangerous to suddenly stop taking it...you must wean off this medication. It is outright vicious for a doctor to suddenly cut-off a patient from this medication. I left an unhappy message when I called back asking Dr. Williams to call me, but said nothing that would be considered "abusive." About a week later, I received a letter from Dr. Williams informing me that she will no longer be my doctor me because I was "abusive to her staff" and that she "informed my pharmacy" of my abusive behavior. She wrote that she would see me within 30-45 days upon receipt of her letter to give me time to find a new provider. I left 3 messages at her office to schedule an appointment with no response. I can only conclude that she had no intention of scheduling me, is purely economically motivated, and doesn't care about me at all. She has made errors calling in my anxiety prescription (wrong strength), and has charged my insurance fees for services, such as “Smoking Counseling,” that I never received. She dropped me during a pandemic and, most importantly, without medication for my anxiety. Does this sound like a good doctor to you? Does this sound like she cares about her patients? Doctors like her are part of the problem with healthcare in this country, not the solution. Reply to Dr. Williams, Fact: no reasonable person would describe my message as "profane filled." Fact; a full physical and blood work was unnecessary as nothing regarding my health indicated the need. It is outright vicious and extremely dangerous to cut off a patient from taking anxiety medication, a patient MUST wean off this medication. Heartless. Fact: I had at least one televisit over the last year and I informed her staff that I had been to Urgent Care 1 or 2 times over the last year. Fact: she charges much more for the same services than Urgent Care. Fact: I reduced the strength of my medication and was doing well. The following month, she refilled it with the old stronger medication. Incompetent? Fact: I told Williams that I wanted to quit smoking and exactly what medication I wanted to try. She actually charged my insurance a fee for "smoking counseling." She at no time provided me smoking counseling, I did all of the talking, she wrote the RX...period. Fact: She wrote in her letter that she would see me to give me time to find a new provider, but her and her staff ignored my 3 messages. This reply and the review above are honest and factual."
