"I feel compelled to write this review to recommed Pivot as a one stop all inclusive PT facility. Kate and Cortney worked seamlessly between hot water pool and gym to ensure all my needs were met. I now have abandoned Wheelchairs walking stick. To using a cane. My confidence has returned and thanks to thier system of addressing the whole person I've taken up a life changing daily workout. "Unfortunately, I have had reasons to get PT for the last 40 years. About 12 years ago, I started to go what is now called Pivot at the Columbia Athletic Club. They have treated me on land and in the pool for knee replacements (3), shoulder replacements (2), and various other ligament and muscle issues in my arms, legs, and back. For the last eight years, I have been fortunate to have Courtney Kinser as my main therapist. Courtney is a true professional who combines her extensive knowledge of the human body with empathy and a sense of humour which I did not find at other facilities. At every appointment she focuses on her patient, and even if there are a number of them at the same time, she makes it individual when others in my past just went through the motions by rote. I feel very lucky to have had Courtney. It is like having your own personal trainer. She understands that we are not there for the fun of it, that pain motivates us to show up, yet I always find myself looking forward to my appointments. The rest of the staff are great too. "First time ar this facility and I loved it! Though I've had PT dozens of times, I never had aqua TX. It was amazing and I feel like it's going to help because I felt a bit better waking up this morning! The therapists were great. Really listened to me and worked closely with me to ensure I was doing the exercises correctly. I am hopeful!"
