"They upgraded the store however the staff needs better customer service, took me 10 minutes to find help and when I got someone they had the biggest attitude ever, also restroom are not actually cleaned, toilet seats holder are empty as well as the toilet paper. There was urine all over the seats too"
"BEWARE: Management does not care about their workers and staff. Customers always get mad at us but be mad at the real one's who are in charge (ETL's, Store Manager, and maybe even the team leads to an extent). Managers yell at us instead of helping us. They hold us to a higher stander than they hold themselves to. If this target does not even care for the employees then they definitely don't care about you (the customer). Nothing is ever in stock by the way so you might as stop at the Newport News Location so you don't waste your time. ALSO been working here for over a year now and guess what? ALL the regular employees got a raise of .03-0.21 cent. WOW. 3 cent raise? After all the hard work I have done over this past year? If you shop here you don't care about us employees anymore than the mangers do. This store needs to be shut down. Very dirty by the way and they treat us like we're less than human. Apply here at your own will. Shop here if you must. Managers really sit around all day, yell at us when it's busy, but do not help us. They just watch and yell. We do not know what promos are going on in the store because they don't talk to us. We don't get a team meeting to know what to do to help one another around the store everyday. The T in Target does not stand for team because it is everyone for themselves. Plus Jennifer yelling at everyone. Maybe we would come to work If you fired her by the way. We get our 3 cent raises and they got thousands in bonuses. (BTW if you work Christmas Eve you get paid $15/hr so might as well just take the day off)"
"I did not have a great return experience. I frequently shop with Target and this was the first time I've had an issue. I presented my return with the original receipt and very well within 30 days. The clothing items I purchased were too small and I wanted to exchange them for a larger size. For starters, there was only one person behind the counter and she was handling both in store pick-ups and customer returns. Finally after waiting in line for quite some time as she was gone to retrieve an item for the customer in front of me, a gentleman comes and starts my return. I explained to him that I did not want a return but only wanted to change the too small items for the correct items I had in my hand. He told me the only option he could do was return them to my original form of payment and then I would have to leave the customer service desk to go to a regular register to purchase the items I wanted. I told him that had never been the case and he just said that was his only option. So then I asked if I would be able to get the new items at the same price I orginally purchased and he said I would have to pay whatever the register showed. So I clarified that not only would he not do the exchange, but I would also have to pay full price for something I purchased on sale with my original receipt. I asked him if that was a new policy and he shrugged his shoulders and said he had just started. So he completed the return and I went straight to a manager that was at the self checkout registers. After looking at my receipt, he did say that my new items could be purchased for the sale price that was shown on my receipt and he directed me to a cashier that was able to take me immediately so I didn't have to stand in another line. Fortunately the end result worked out in that I was able to get the correct sizes at the same price, but my customer service experience was far from great."
"Not shopping at Target again. I decided to buy an accent table where the price on the shelf was $130, had to request help to get it to the register, then it rang up as $300. Customer service said it was “mislabeled” despite the label saying “accent table.” Idk how that’s my problem, but after looking online apparently Target has a habit of bait-and-switching prices on it’s customers. There was also only 1 register open (on a Friday afternoon) and the rest were self-checkout. The employees themselves were fine, but I’m really disappointed in the Target franchise and won’t be shopping there again. (I happened to have photos because I needed to request help to move the table and wanted to make sure they knew which item to grab.) **updating to say I found another review that had the SAME problem with prices being more than what the tag displayed!**"
"Went to get a few cleaning and household products from this Target and had a great experience while here. Everything was easy to find, the store was also very clean and organized, as a whole will be back in again."
