"I was referred to MD Dermatology of Maryland by Tricare. I noticed some of the charges and was stunned that the appointments to do nothing but "check something out" were so expensive! They diagnosed my skin disorder and suggested an all over body check and I said ok since Tricare was paying. I did have a suspect freckle that they removed and there was minimal scarring (which is a positive). Yet, the freckle wasn't the reason I was there. I needed a procedure done for the skin disorder but had to schedule an appointment to get the area "checked out" (which was a separate appt from being at the office for them to check on the freckle removal site) and then couldn't schedule the actual procedure until over a month later! I requested my records since I was transferring and it was going to cost me almost $23+ $0.73 per page! I must agree with the other reviewers who said the receptionists weren't very.. receptive. At times, it felt like it was out of mere toleration that they were assisting you. That said, all of my appointments started on time and there was never any extra "dr's office" wait that I've experienced at other medical centers."
