"My review is for Rocket ship Legacy Prep on Alabama and Massachusetts Ave S.E. my senior parents home sits directly next door too the HORRIBLE SCHOOL!!!! This school was built without any input or consultation of members of the surrounding community who have lived here for over 40 plus yrs. This community is made up of entirely of seniors and retired persons there are NO KIDS!!!! living this area. Pastor Reverend Patrick Walker Jr. of New Macedonia Baptist Church sold this property to Rocket ship and It's parent company for over $1 million dollars for the construction of this MONSTRASOTY!!! The negative impact this school has and continues to have on the community daily is Unfathomable. Let's begin with the parents and the kids who attend this "school" who don't either live or pay taxes in this neighborhood. These folks are RUDE,CRASS,HEATHENISH,DISRESPECTFUL,LOUD, and Classless I could go on....parents let their kids run on property owners property and do not reprimand them, parents and teachers park in front of our houses(were we park) sometimes all day instead of on the school .parking lot . When I say it's like my parents are living in a "WAR ZONE" it is not an exaggeration . When you have intruded on an primarily, educated elderly community with a school who's student population and parents come from a different socioeconomic demographic that don't share the same values the effect is DEVASTATING!!!! My hope is that this school be closed PERMANANTLEY !!!! but until this happens it would be helpful if the Principle: Ms. Jeanice Stewart had an open house so that the parents of these "kids" meet with the neighbors in the neighborhood to discuss how to be better "Neighbors" and be more respectful and considerate of there surroundings. Finally Reverend Patrick Walker Jr. of New Macedonia Baptist Church has peace and quiet each and everyday around his home why did he not afford the same piece too the neighbors surrounding his church for the past 40yrs one simple word GREED!!!!!!"

"Just enrolled my son in this school and he didn’t want to leave. He’s going to kindergarten && I love that they would be changing classes that’s awesome.. my child is very hyper so him being able to transition to other class room is great for his energy. All the staff members were nice.."
