"Do not work at this place if you are passionate about ABA and love to see people thrive. If you want a free paycheck for not doing anything, by all means work for this company. I worked for this company for a short time and it's by far my worst experience with an employer thus far. The PA's (program assistance) don't do anything but sleep and be on their phones the whole shift. Most of them don't chart data and when they do it's false documentation because they didn’t do anything with the participants all day and this is the same false documentation the PC (program coordinator go off to do their ISP, IPP and other submissions required by the state of Virginia and DC. The PA's have this sense of entitlement but fail to realize that we are here for the participants. When I spoke to the director and the lead PC about my frustrations I was told "that's what they do and you can't teach someone who is unwilling to learn." My thing is if you can't teach them, fire them and look for people more passionate and qualified about the field. I believe this dysfunction starts from management because they are more relaxed in their roles since they have been there for quite a while. I guess they are doing the best they can with what they have but in my opinion some serious training needs to be done or staff needs to go, this is utterly ridiculous! As a new PC coming on board this was not what I was expecting at all. What hurts me the most is that I feel sorry for the parents and the citizens who pay taxes to fund these day programs with lazy workers. I will be contacting DDS and who ever else I can because it's truly unfair to the participants and it breaks my heart to see how neglected they are. I wish the next PC good luck and I really hope things change and the director is more interactive with staff to see what really goes on. P.S. please invest in cameras on the 3 floor group spaces so you can see what really goes on."
"Excellent program; staff and administration strive to provide an atmosphere that is welcoming, supportive, and engaging for all participants."
"Great staff."
