"My son attended this school from kindergarten to 8th grade. There was a short period ( 3 weeks) at the beginning of 6th grade when I moved him. I got caught up in the charter school hype but eventually sent him back to Beltsville Adventist. This school is phenomenal. The principal is in charge and does an excellent job. This kind of leadership has trickled down to the staff who are beyond comparison. I highly recommend this school. The exceptional reading program starts in kindergarten. In middle school the reading, writing, math and science teachers are very good. They prepare students for high school. My son has left this school for high school and I make it my duty to tell everyone of what a wonderful school BAS is. Also, discipline and the general conduct of students is admirable. This school is a rare gem."
