"Fusion Academy Columbia has been a great experience for our family. Our son is a recent 2022 graduate and we are glad to have found the campus several years ago. Fusion offers an alternative learning environment to the public school system and is able to tailor classes and assignments to students' individual strengths/needs. The teachers and staff are all very compassionate and caring. They go out of their way to develop creative and effective strategies to enable student success. Their ability to work with students one-on-one and develop supportive relationships that help encourage and foster learning is something we have greatly appreciated over the past 3 years. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a more personalized educational experience."

"Fusion was a good fit for my child academically. The teachers were very caring and connected well with my child in general. My child finally learned math for the first time at Fusion. I’d say some of the science work was too difficult and not tailored to meet my child’s needs. Also, my child was assaulted off campus by another student and Fusion did almost nothing to keep them apart. I wasn’t keen on that. This is why they lost one star."

"Our son was in Fusion Columbia's inaugural class three years ago and graduated last week. He needed a fresh start for high school and Fusion was described as a place that can reach kids who aren't thriving socially or academically in conventional school settings . We were told teachers and administrators do this in part by making each kid feel heard and understood as a person and by designing curriculum with the student's interests in mind. We enrolled him and these things happened! Thanks to outstanding teachers and administrators (who also know the kids well), our son became a dedicated and capable student, well-loved and genuinely grateful for his time at Fusion."

One issue was the confidence to do well in school. Fusion - Columbia, got his history and worked with him to make him feel like he could do well in school. Before Fusion, she went to both private and public schools, but something wasn’t right.
