"I called to make an appointment for a cyst excision and they said I could be seen in a month by a PA Maria for the appointment. I asked the receptionist if she would be able to do it if she is a PA and he said yes. I re-asked the receptionist and said she is going to need to make a small cut, remove the cyst, and stitch it up and he assured me she could do this. So today, I show up at 2:15pm for my 2:30 appointment. I sat patiently in the lobby until 2:50 pm when I asked the receptionist what was happening. After doing that I was given a room at 2:55 (guess they forgot about me). Then, I get in the room and Maria tells me everything I already knew about the cyst (because I’ve had these before) and informs me she cannot do the excision she is a PA. So I waited a month to waste an hour of my time just to schedule for a consultation at another dermatologist before I can even get my cyst removed. Somehow there were no doctors in the place to honor what my appointment was scheduled for which I found odd. Overall terrible experience and not my first time having an overall poor experience there. The only reason I’ve continued to go up until this point is that it was the original dermatologist I went to when we moved here. Dr. Tamjidi has clearly lost grip on what used to be a good dermatologist practice."

"Today, on December 26th 2023, JP Sanchez called to cancel my appointment that was scheduled in April 2023. He didn’t reschedule another one. He didn’t give me another option. He just canceled my appointment after 9 months of wait. When I reminded him about the fact that I have been waiting for 9 months, he suggested that I can see a PA instead of Dr. McNeely. I was McNeely’s patient. I really like her and want to see her. I do have medical needs, this appointment was not for a cosmetic treatment. When I told Mr Sanchez this, his response was that “he was going to call me when he knows when Dr McNeely is available; that I could see a PA if I wanted to be seen soon”! This was the response I received after waiting for 9 months!!! Unbelievable- this unprofessional behavior of this establishment is unacceptable. If I could, I would give a negative rating."

"I’ve been a patient at Tamjidi for several years - there was always an office wait but worth dealing with for quality care. There’s recently been turnover on the clinical staff resulting in scheduling challenges and lower quality care. I recently underwent surgery and was due for follow-up. I rearranged several business meetings for the visit only to have them cancel on me the week before. I rearranged again and was running 20 min late the day of my appt so I called twice but they were on lunch break. I finally got through as I was looking for parking but they said I just missed the 15 minute cutoff so I’d have to reschedule. I’m now in the process of transferring my records out. Don’t bother with this place; their time & money is more valuable than your time & health."

"The appointment schedule system is not helpful at all. I scheduled an appointment with the doctor about 3-4 months ago for an appointment at July. I got a text message 2 days prior to my appointment to confirm my appointment, which i did on the appointment date. But a message back then said it’s too late to confirm that I need contact my provider. However, it turns out to be the appointment was kept. Then I came 15 min late due to the confusion. But it’s said “sorry, now you are too late, you have to wait for another 3-4 months”. Maybe the doctor is great, but the appointment system is very confusing and not clear at all. We always end up waiting in doctors office for a long time. On the other hand, for them, 10-15 min delay, you need to wait for another 3 months, to be able to see the doctor. That’s a total of 6-7 months wait, god bless your illness. I would avoid this place."
