Reviews of Connections Academy
"Love the hard work of the teachers. Mrs.Ray was a great help with his school. She is patient, kind, and very heartwarming to have. The school is great for students, help our son very much. Words can express how there education with students are. Excellent"
"Will be graduating an honors Senior this June. As a parent, I highly recommend Connections Academy. The curriculum is great; just as good as brick and mortar, if not better. The teachers and staff are attentive, responsive for the large part and student/parent resources are excellent. The only serious comment/advice I have is that if you are expecting the same experience as brick and mortar of simply dropping off your kids and not being FULLY engaged in your child’s education, this school is NOT for you—ESPECIALLY at lower grades—parents play a HUGE role as learning coaches. All in all, We truly enjoyed our overall experience at Connections Academy."
"Generally, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time with Connections Academy. This format allowed my daughter to work at her own pace. She made friends and felt cared for. Attention to her IEP accommodations has been stellar for the most part. Her directed studies support is outstanding this year as it was in 8th, 9th and 10th grade. Most all of the teachers have been extremely responsive. The math and English teachers are especially spectacular at what they do. The only thing we did not like were the temporary zeros. It caused my daughter great anxiety to work hard all week and just to see grades plummet. Though she logically understood why, it was a disheartening close to many work weeks. Overall, Connections Academy was a great choice for my daughter and I have absolutely no regrets. Well done!"
"Connections Academy has been the best school my daughter has ever attended! The teachers and counselors she’s had over the years have all been supportive, patient, encouraging and understanding! I always tell other parents about Connections Academy especially when their child is having a rough time attending public schools. I liked how she was able to go at her own pace and was able to go back watch recorded live lessons."
"Connections academy has been truly an academy for my daughter. I thought that this would just be a regular online school where you kind of get pushed through; however, this school is almost like one-on-one learning in many ways. I love everything about it the graphics, the assignments, the creativity, but, mostly we really love the staff and my daughter was able to really bond with many of her teachers. I'll be honest and say that the counselor's student relationship is about as close as it is in public high school, but, the teacher student relationship is much closer and for a long time I thought one of her teachers was her counselor because she acted in that role. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is even considering online school."
