The Mount Royal School

"I am an 8th grade student and this school is not where you want to send your for middle school. I suggest Roland park. The lockers are falling apart, roaches crawling in the bathrooms, no soap in the bathrooms nor paper towels, and one I saw a rat run down the steps chasing another or a student. Then the food is horrible, one time a worm was found in the apples, hair is frequently found in food and I'm surprised I haven't been food poisoned. Then the environment is terrible, restaurants won't serve us because of other students. Personally I think they care more about the uniform than the education and it's hard for other students to focus. You can take this advice from an honors student."

"I had the extreme misfortune to run into some of the students from this school while in Inner Harbor. They were walking between the Science Center and the Aquarium. I am a Asian and when I passed them they started hurling ethnic slurs. They were in a small group unchaperoned ahead of another supervised group. This is extremely disappointing since I was minding my own business and this was just the malice of some ignorant children who weren't taught any better. I hope the school will do something about this so people in the future won't experience bigoted attacks from their students."
