"My son has been a patient there for over 6 years. He has special needs & it's hard to find a good Doctor/ pa for all of his needs but, Mr Odom is wonderful, I really trust his opinion, he cares & he listens. He is the ONLY reason I have stayed though. I don't like to say anything negative but, the office staff seem to be getting worse every year. After this last incident I'm Fed up with the attitude I receive almost every time I call for even the most simple things. Everytime a mistake happens , which is a lot, they seem to come up a brand new Office policy I should have known about or they just take a message that doesn't get delivered. I really would recommend Mr Odom, he is very good at what he does, you can tell he does this because he cares. I cannot say enough about him. Just prepare yourself to deal with the office staff. I'm sure there are office staff that are caring, I do remember an office manager who was very helpful one time I just don't remember her name unfortunately."
"First google review I’ve left, and it’s solely to warn others about the experience that I had. I mean everything I say with all due respect. You are treated in this office as a name on a piece of paper, rather than someone who is in need of help. The communication by the staff and the doctors/NP’s is awful. Usually you have to call 2-3 times to even get through to somebody, depending on the time of day. I hate to say names, but avoid Rebecca. I came in for my regular twice-a-year checkup, so I could continue to get my meds filled (I struggle with anxiety), and so they could take my vitals. Well, what do you know, my blood pressure is high because it’s a new situation, and that feeds into why I’m anxious, and anxiety spikes blood pressure. Stay with me, she then acts very panicky and hostile about my BP numbers, and TAKES IT AGAIN. The numbers are, shocker, higher, and here is how she handled it “We are required to tell you to go to the emergency room ASAP for your blood pressure” no possible solution, no further explanation, just sends me to the door after all that. I AM LITERALLY THERE FOR ANXIETY! It’s totally unethical to treat someone that way. I went to the ER, then to a primary care doctor, who determined that there was never an issue with my blood pressure, and it was likely spiked due to anxiety. A classic case of an NP protecting herself instead of the best interest of her patient. All in all, I can’t believe I put up with it as long as I did, probably because I didn’t want to go through the trouble of switching providers, but they forced my hand. So if you’re reading this and considering going there for meds, in a word; don’t."
"One star is for office staff, not my therapist... Completely missing an appointment is not "running a bit behind." If *I* had not been the one to reach out to the office and call, I would not have been told that she was running late or that she was so late my appointment would be missed. Which they knew Being told by a different staff member that I'd hear from the therapist and that I would first get a phone call and then sent to link for my appointment Then being told that actually no we can't get to my appointment and that my appointment time was missed and now I need reschedule by someone else This is a mental health center, and yet there is no communication at a place where we are supposed to communicate"
"This office is one bad experience after another. My provider is very good but I have no way to reach her!! Leave work, fight traffic, walk in at 3:43 for a 3:30 appt, which, while it is a 30-minute slot, never, ever exceeds 15 minutes. I’m informed that because I’ve arrived three minutes past the grace period, my doctor can’t possibly see me cuz she has a 4 pm appointment, and the next available spot is 10 days from now, at an even less convenient time…and if I need rx refill, which is all this is about anyway, I need to call and leave a message."
"my parents & i went here after waiting a month for our appointment. on the phone my mother was asked if she was given a packet through email, when she said no, we had been instructed to come in 30 minutes early to fill it out. upon getting there and receiving the email, the packet asked multiple questions about my development (birth weight, first words, when i started walking, etc) that we did not know. having received the packet through email instead of just telling us to come in earlier would have solved this problem and we were not informed how much info would be needed. i am a teenager, so there is no way we would remember exactly when those things happened off the top of our heads. when it was time for the appointment, and we handed the lady at the front desk the packet (which was filled with the information we knew), we were told there was not enough to proceed with the appointment, even though the most important info had been filled out. i had been waiting a month for this, and i need proper help. i was denied the hour of time allotted and told we couldn't even work something out with the doctor; as if he was too scared to even show his face. it was completely unbelievable, and some of the questions seemed too intrusive... like my last period cycle. there were even things my dad said he was not asked when visiting psychiatrists on his own. on top of that, the lady at the front desk was rude."
