"I am very disappointed with my experience at Outreach. I contacted this practice by telephone and through the website chat feature to ask if my insurance would be accepted. Both agents told me "yes". With this confirmation, I utilized the chat feature to send my insurance information to the agent and to make an appointment. At my appointment, my insurance card was taken by the receptionist, and everything seemed to be fine. Two days after the appointment on a Saturday morning, I received a phone call from Outreach. I was told that I was supposed to be charge $195 for an out-of-network fee. I had no other choice but to pay this fee over the phone. Why was I told that my insurance was accepted? Why did the agent from the chat accept my information? Why did the staff members at the office take my card? I am now back at the beginning of my mental health journey, desperately searching for a practice that accepts my insurance and has open appointments. Outreach has made this process more challenging than it already was. I am so hurt."
