"Just a few words about why we love STC- St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School educates students from Pre-K for 3 and 4 year-olds up through 8th grade. My kids have attended STC since kindergarten and their teachers have been fantastic; they are kind and compassionate and encourage my kids to meet their potential in their academics and their personal growth and maturity. I love that my kids have religion class everyday to supplement the faith and morals we teach at home. Students attend Mass weekly and have the opportunity to pray and serve together as a school community. STC places a strong focus on STEM (the new 3D printer is awesome) and the kids benefit from a growing menu of clubs as well as competitive sports and cheerleading (STC girls varsity basketball was 4th in the state in 2022!) STC also partners with the LIU to offer in-school speech and language therapy as well as support for students in both reading and math if your child needs extra assistance. We have students attending who live throughout Hanover, Gettysburg, New Oxford and into the northern Maryland areas. Bussing is even provided in many cases (you would want to check with your local public bus system to confirm you are within the bussing radius). Also, all are welcome- you do not have to be Catholic to attend STC. Tuition assistance is available, so please don't let a tuition cost deter you from requesting information. I love that my kids are experiencing a quality, faith-based education modeled after the life and virtues of Mother Teresa, and I am proud that they are maturing into leaders who serve their families, church, and community by "doing small things with great love.β I consider my children's education at STC an investment in their future."
