"Good luck getting a hold of somebody here. I've tried calling the hearing clinic 20-30 times today, with zero response. Their hours online reflect that they should be in the office. Incredibly frustrating."
"Took two weeks to get an appointment. 950 am appointment and told to arrive early..and we got there at 920. The provider saw me at 1050! No explanation or apology for being so late. She saw me for all of 5 minutes!! Very unprofessional!!! ** update.... this provider after 6 hours of seeing me all of a sudden changes my treatment plan without telling me and emails her nurse for her to tell me. I have now since October 14th been trying to see/speak to someone over the extremely subpar care received. ICE complaint filed...nothing back, so I called and left voicemail...still nothing from the Patient Adv office. I then went up in person and he was not there that day. I have now sent a message via the Kimbrough FB page....let's see if anything comes of this. ****** Final update. I was finally able to speak to someone and she was able to help me with getting the proper care I should have received from the beginning."
"I’ve been going here for over a year now, that definitely wouldn’t be the case if I had a choice but that doesn’t matter. This place is a sad excuse for a medical facility. There is no reason that a patient should be limited with such a short time limit and then treated like an inconvenience when a concern is brought up. There is no reason that a medical professional should roll their eyes at me, or dismiss my concerns with no explanation. I always end up feeling worse than I did leaving this place than when I entered. I just want basic medical care, but I’m treated like a joke."
"PCS'ed to the area last week. I'm a single parent and trying to get my kids into daycare. Apparently there are some medical screening forms that MD requires to be completed by a doctor. I called Tricare to get the appointment line number (after the google number wasn't working). They told me both my kids had the same provider. I called the appointment line and was on hold for 57 minutes!!! When I finally talked to someone, they said "oh well your son isn't in our system and you need to call Tricare." I called Tricare again and they son "yup your son is enrolled, just call the appointment line." Both of my kids were seen at Ft. Stewart so it's not like they are brand new patients to base care. I have less than a week to get these dumb forms filled out, or we get dropped from the Daycare wait list. I am so mad!!!! *Update: Yup.. I had to remain on hold for another hour. So for over two hours, I did nothing but remain on hold to make routine appointments for my children. If I show up 5 minutes late for work, I get in trouble. But the NCP can keep me on hold for 2 hours and waste my time?!? Ridiculous. And the DoD wonders why we all hate base care so much. Good luck even getting seen by a doctor. Update: Also good luck ever getting a prescription filled. Doc ordered a prescription, waited two hours only to be told that the prescription wasn't ready yet. Came back two days later only to be told that they don't have the dosage I need. Told me they would send in a special order and that it should take a few days. They said they would call me when ready. You can guess what happened next... no phone call. I gave up at that point. Luckily my old provider just called a prescription into CVS for me, otherwise I would have a seizure and probably die lol Another update: I have tried again to get my prescription refilled. They got the dosage wrong on the first try. They got the dosage wrong a second time. I have called family care a THIRD time. This is so asinine, like seriously, I have to tell the MDs what dosage I need THREE effin times?!?! I have to babysit a freakin MD because they don't bother looking at my medical record? These guys would get sued in a heartbeat for malpractice if they were civilian. Oh and yet again, I requested a call back from them when the prescription was ordered. Yup never got a call. So stupid."
"Avoid this place. Also, I have some complaints about a doctor there. I will definitely change my pcm and I regret seeing her today. It's a long story but my appointment had to do with needing documentation regarding overseas screening. You can ask me for details. It's long to explain here. She kept saying she had to go and see other patients when we only saw her for like 15 mins. Oh, and my appointment was at 2:30 and we waited like 30+ mins to see her. Very unprofessional trying to cut us off because she was annoyed when she came very late to see me for my appointment. As a professional, she shouldn't have gotten annoyed like that cause I was never rude to her. The only positive experience I had from this place was one particular medical assistant who took my vitals. She was very kind and bubbly. Too bad the doctor was the complete opposite."
