"Extremely impressed with everyone I've spoken to in regards to, two loose dogs in my neighborhood a white/gray pitbull and a multi gray color bully. They were kind, friendly and concerned for my safety. The pitbull went after my pup on two separate occasions now. People need to learn to keep their dogs on leashes or in a fenced yard."
"I think Berkeley Animal Control does the very best they can with the resources they have. Their understaffed but continue to try to protect the community and the animals we try to domesticate. I wish someone would work the phones daily. This would help people not get so frustrated. And would open up paid full time positions that the county desperately needs in this area."
"Unfortunate circumstances surrounding my interaction with Berkeley County Animal Control as it related to a very sick animal. But, I was pleseantly pleased with the comunication and response to my call. They handled my situation with urgency, care and decency. Thank you for your service!"
"I find this place very depressing for the dogs. When you go in, you cannot see the dogs, as they're all locked up in the back like it's prison. You have to look through a book with their photos in it. You might get lucky enough to see a dog being taken outside for a bathroom break, but it will be on a leash that chokes them. Definitely not people friendly, kid friendly, animal friendly, or adoption friendly. Berkeley County PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER! This place needs an entire makeover and probably new staff who can speak to customers and animal lovers with professionalism and respect."
