"Healing from tick borne illnesses is not easy and don’t expect treatment to be quick and easy. Trust the protocols JSC gives you, discuss your concerns, your lifestyle, challenges, etc. They are there to help you and will help you. I’m afraid this office is not staffed properly to handle the amount of patients it has but to me it seems they are doing their best. Ive gotten frustrated at times when I haven’t had a return call or email in the same day but they have always been available within 24 hours and have worked with me. Their aim is to get us into lasting remission from these horrible tick borne diseases. It’s complex and takes a long time. I’ve been treating for two years and am 100 times better than I was when I started. I put in a lot of the work myself but had JSC protocols and support to get me to where I am. I definitely recommend to those who face Lyme disease and tick borne illnesses."

"Dr Jemsek is generally good. Unfortunately, a treatment path he put me on finally worked for me, and I actually herxed from it but was much better for most of the time. I told the PA, but either they did not tell Dr. Jemsek or nothing was done to keep me on that treatment. I subsequently lost work after I was switched to a different treatment for some unknown reason. 10 years later, I am homeless… I have so much to offer the world, but illness became too much. "Lyme, like most chronic diseases, is a nasty illness. It saps your energy. It steals your time. But unlike most chronic diseases, it’s widely misunderstood among health care professionals and the public alike. It’s emotionally and physically draining — both dealing with the illness and the general ignorance around it that abounds. It can also be socially isolating because people may no longer wish to be around you. Some days, you may not even want to be around yourself. What I can say about this clinic is this: They have given me more good days than bad. When I speak to their clinicians about how I’m feeling, they listen. And most importantly, they believe me because they see my symptoms in other patients every day. Someday, there will be a simpler treatment for chronic Lyme disease and the associated co-infections. Maybe there’ll even be a cure. But until that day, I’ll keep coming here. On my first good day after a long string of bad days, I’m reminded why."

"Dr. Jemsek: your front office staff needs to be reminded about how to treat human beings. I have been receiving the worst treatment I ever have in my interactions with a medical provider. They are rude and demonstrate little compassion for someone in pain and under treatment. Lyme is a horrible disease and a difficult one to process after being diagnosed. I wish they would have an idea how their treatment have impacted me since I became your patient. Praying that they are never in my situation or if they ever are that they don’t have to deal with what I have been when communicating with them. Hopefully you take the necessary steps to modify their behavior. Thank you."
