"I would give 0 stars if I could. Receptionists are rude & unhelpful. I’ve been trying to get treatment for WEEKS and they just keep putting that I called in my “chart”. I went there on wits end and I feel they should be held accountable."
"This place is a hit or miss it really depends on what day you come as well. My first experience years ago here was horrible to a point I didn’t want to ever try this place again, the second time was slightly better but still pretty bad as it led me nowhere and they didn’t seem to care about helping me. One of the counselors I spoke to during my second time didn’t seem to care that I am schizophrenic and was willing to risk others safety. I had told her when I get into episodes I become extremely irritable and lash out on others and that I’m too paranoid to be around people during those episodes, that didn’t stop her from wanting to force me into group therapy though. I refused and was left with no help. My third time (most recently) I was left with no choice but to turn to here again after reaching a breaking point and having no meds. The front desk people were very understanding and nice the nurse was nice too but some of the doctors they assign people to are heartless. I’ve been diagnosed with a few different conditions for years now and have been needing treatment since I was a teen, the doctor I spoke to accused me of not having anything I said I have after only speaking to me for 5 minutes and then tried to force group therapy down my throat. It was completely inappropriate and not the type of treatment I need. Every time I spoke he would talk over me and speak as if I don’t know what I’m talking about. At one point I listed out meds to him that I had been on before and he tried to accuse me of lying meanwhile I had one of the medicine bottles with me (which was klonopin for my panic disorder) and could’ve shown him. He said I don’t even need meds which was incredibly harmful I need meds for my psychosis/ panic attacks because I get violent episodes. I gave up with that doctor and a very nice lady was able to help me out with finding a different one so I’m just glad about that. Overall, This place really needs to chill out with the group therapy I understand it may help some people but people that are a danger to themself and others still deserve help too. It just seems as if the doctors and some of the counselors don’t care about you unless you’re someone that will blindly agree to join their group therapy program when it could risk the safety of yourself and others. I would keep in mind to stay strict about your treatment and don’t let them try and convince you to do anything you don’t want, eventually someone will listen to you."
"I’ve been receiving mental health services for over 20 years and NEVER have I had my rights compromised as much as I just did. Full intake in the company of multiple other patients. Waited over 3 hours. Completely unprofessional!"
"Unfortunately I switch health insurance and my provider recommended that I go to this location for a therapist.... I felt uncomfortable being there. There is no privacy. I heard one lady had a complete meltdown in front of me. It's a big open room. No privacy to talk to somebody. I had a 30-day follow-up which I wish they could offered virtual since I've already there. I show up for my appointment. They called me to confirm my appointment which I answered the phone I confirmed on the mobile app. Nobody explained to me how the appointments work. The appointment was scheduled an hour before the open nobody's at the door. I'm calling a lady had an attitude with me making me feel like it was my fault. I don't want to be there. I just walked out."
"This place truly saved my life. The residential staff from the counselors to the security guards were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They make you still feel human while you receive the treatment that you need. They allow outside breaks, your phone, personal items, and provide several group therapies throughout the day. They made sure I had arrangements for the next steps after residential care and taught me some important coping skills. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am forever grateful I went there."
