Internal Medicine Residency Program at GBMC

"I’ve been here many times. You have to explain your problem to the student and then again to the doctor. Always have to see a different doctor and student every time I visit due to the transient nature of the place. The rooms are a little dirty. I didn’t feel as if they did a good job trying to solve my medical problems. Once I had to get an xray and bloodwork and they never got back to me with the results. I reached out to them 2 weeks later and then they finally got back with results. That issue I came in for was never resolved. A year later I did bloodwork again for them for a diff issue and they told me everything was fine, only for me to find out that there was something that was outside the normal range and upon asking about it, they told me it needs to be monitored. They did not keep proper records of the vaccination I needed and there was confusion about what they were giving me when I had to come for a vaccine. They also have always misgendered me every time I come in. Their fax machine seems to be broken and not receiving documents properly. The office does not wear masks anymore."

"Doctor changed the time of appointment to 11a from 11:30a without letting me know and the receptionist treated me like an idiot when I did show up (early - 11:25a) for my original appointment time. I was told “this is a doctors office and things change” and that I had been told to be at the office BY 11:15 not at 11:15 (15 minutes early for paperwork)."
