Hanover Pediatric Associates

"We moved to PA over a year ago, and coming to Hanover Pediatrics was probably my worst decision, next to taking my son to Upmc ER. The Healthcare in this area is an absolute joke and mockery to the medical field. My son had multiple ear infections last year and is severely delayed with communication. Their idea of practicing medicine is waiting until the very last second to say you're doing something wrong, then refer you out to Early Intervention which is a joke itself. I voiced multiple concerns for his lack of speech and was met with shoulder shrugs and then when he hit 2, they threw him into a grouping of ASD. They never referred us to an ENT or an audiologist; I had to ask for the referrals. We've made the decision to leave, but I asked for an ENT referral yesterday and was basically told to kick dirt because they already sent his files to the new office. The last time we went here, a week ago. it was basically operating like a baby chopshop, full of sick kids coughing next to healthy kids. They didn't even have a room available for us, so they took his vitals and sent us back to the waiting room (nothing but a few wooden chairs, a TV circa 1995 that plays Bluey on repeat, and disgusting floor) and don't get me started on the receptionist who acts like we're inconveniencing her, or the nurses who act like they've never seen a kid before. I didn't even get his flu shot here last week because i was too nervous that they'd mix it up with something else. Do yourself a favor, and drive a few minutes to anywhere else but here for your child."

"i’ve been coming here for a few years now with really no complaints; but recently all they’ve done is mess up. I have no issues with the providers at all. it’s the front desk. as others have said, they put you on hold for a very long time or they just don’t ever answer the phone. they've pronounced all of my kids names wrong even after being corrected several times, and most recently, they have incorrectly scheduled not just one, but TWO of my kids appointments. looking to switch to another office as soon as possible."

"I took my baby here last year & it was a bad experience every time. Providers not wearing masks around a 5 day old baby was the first red flag. They gave outdated advice that actually goes against AAP guidelines. As many others have said, you can't get them on the phone. Our last 2 appts. took over an hour. One of the nurses had the audacity to ask me if I was planning to pay our bill after my kid had gotten 3 shots & was screaming. Yes they are the only peds office in Hanover but you're better off going somewhere else."

"If I could leave zero stars ? I would… recently moved to Hanover less then a month ago and I’m due to have my little one in a few days so I’m in need of a pediatric doctor. I’ve called multiple times on multiple occasions just for no one to pick the phone up. I understand it’s a doctors office they may be busy or short staffed but that is no excuse to not bother answering the phone let alone someone picking up the phone and automatically being placed on hold for over 25+ minutes. Definitely lost a future patient I’ll look elsewhere for a doctor."
