"Finding culturally competent healthcare has always been a challenge for my mom and I, but that changed when we started seeing Dr. AK at the diversity health clinic. As a French-speaking African woman herself, Dr. AK immediately understood our cultural background and was able to converse directly with my mom in French. This was such a relief compared to previous doctors, where I'd have to take time off work and school to interpret for my mom because of language barriers. Dr. AK took it upon herself to explain follow-up care to my mom in a way she truly comprehended. For me, even though I'm fluent in English, it's incredibly meaningful having a doctor who intrinsically gets my cultural context. I don't have to explain myself or my perspectives to Dr. AK which is so refreshing. Her warmth, empathy and intimate understanding of our culture made me feel seen and heard during my visit. If you're a French-speaking woman looking for a doctor who will provide culturally sensitive care and true representation, I can't recommend the remarkable Dr. AK enough. Finding her has been life-changing for my family's health."

"As a nurse I thought a nurse practitioner would be more personal and trying harder to build patient personal, especially because the practice is not currently very busy. I was told if labs were normal I would get a call follow up for a scan order. I waited for the call did not get one only to see he wrote a message saying I could either get an emailed order or pick one up through an external website. I called asking for an emailed order.I latter got a message saying my order was faxed to another facility. I needed the actual order to get the done through my hospital so it didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I still have not gotten my order yet. All of this would not have happened If he followed up like he said he would in the first place."

"This Practice is not only honest but the providers that work here are very caring. I personally see NP Akukeng Mba and I have been very happy with the care I have received. Not only does she take time to assess and diagnose, she also provides comprehensive patient teaching to include new research studies. I am a doctorate prepared nurse and I have been very impressed with the care. She does what she says she will and the follow up is amazing. I'm glad I came to see her. "I came here for a rapid covid test today because everyone else is wiped out. You call when you arrive, wait in your car, they come to take payment/paperwork, and then they come back to give you the test. It costs $75 and you have to wait in your car for 15 minutes to get your results."

"I set up an appointment to get a covid test online. When I showed up for the appointment, no one ever showed up to open the clinic. I guess it closed down but the way to get an appointment is still active!? This was a nice treat at 8 am after my wife and I missed work to do the test."
