"This facility is amazing & truly life changing!!! Special praise must be given especially to Antoinette, an astounding substance abuse counselor. She is extremely kind, thoughtful, engaged, and sincere with all her patients during each and every interaction. She is present and responsive, always making individuals feel as they are her only focus. How wonderful to experience the support of an intelligent and invested counselor! The results of her caring, therapeutic relationship truly improve day to day life and achieve successful sobriety for so many. Counselors like her, who take the time to get to know clients as individuals and build real rapport and connections, are so rare. As someone who is very familiar with healthcare's ins and outs, I cannot speak highly enough regarding her excellent bedside manner and mental health acumen. No substitute exists for an individual who goes above and beyond as she does; the knowledge that you can truly rely on someone, even during the worst times, makes all the difference in patient outcomes and long term success. I would not be surprised to hear mountains of success stories attributed to Annie's care! Additionally, the staff overall at Frederick Institute all should be applauded as they genuinely care. Compliments should be showered on each of them: the 2 person nursing staff (who are accurate and on point even while short staffed), front desk receptionist (who is welcoming and friendly even when he's greeting you at 0530!), and ESPECIALLY Miss Mimi (who remembers everyone who walks through the door and has meticulous organizational skills). It is a breath of fresh air for there to be a place in Frederick where one can receive substance abuse treatment that is consistent, profoundly effective and without judgement. Keep up the good work!"

"The Institute, and especially the counselor Antoinette, have been life saving for my family. My family member struggled for years with addiction. The support they received and are still receiving from Antoinette has had such a positive impact. Addiction isn’t a one and done crisis. Ongoing support and care is required. Without the help of the staff at the Institute, I can’t imagine what we would have done. Truly grateful!"

"I’d give zero stars if I could. Kat is the worst counselor. Vulgar, vile language and can be overheard bashing clients to other staff members and bashes other staff members to clients. She swears constantly and dresses inappropriately. She is not professional at all. She walks around acting like she owns the place and is better than everyone else. Extremely disappointing."

"The staff is so caring and kind. They really want to see you succeed. From the office manager to nursing and counseling I have had great experiences. Mimi is always helpful and makes me feel welcomed and Nurse Kelly is the sweetest nurse I have ever met. I miss Thomas but wish him the best. They really care about your recovery and progress.
